Played it on my friend's ipod, and after about 5 minutes I got both bored and frustrated. I advise you to save that buck.
I'm looking for a good turn based strategy game for my iPad 2. Civ rev seems a bit too buggy judging by reviews and doesn't look like its going to be updated. Any suggestions?
Starbase Orion is probably the best turn based game in the AppStore. Here's a link http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=109751 Siegecraft has a decent turn based multiplayer. There's also Carcassone which is a turn based strategy game, and there's Ascendancy which is what Starbase Orion improved on. My gamecenter name is GoofyJmaster I'm also into turn based games.
If you're looking for newer games, I would go with Shadowgun, Starbase Orion, Please Stay Calm, and Siegecraft. There are also a bunch of games coming in the next couple of months worth looking at. They are Space Pirate Adventure, 2012: Infected Wars, Goblin Heroes: Modern War, Project Orion, Ravenmark, World of Midgard, Zombieville USA 2, and Desert Zombie Last Stand. If you want more info on the just search for them in the forums. Infinity blade is an older game, but it could still be nice to show off. Also, if you want, you can add me on gamecenter. My gamecenter name is GoofyJmaster [[edit]] You should also check out Scribblenauts Remix.
It's a hard decision because they're both really good games, but are completely different. Get Shadowgun if you want a really nice third person shooter. Get Scribblenauts if you want a fun and casual adventure. Personally if I was you, I'd go with Scribblenauts and then get Shadowgun once multiplayer is released.
Squids - Casual, challenging, just awesome. Battle for Wesnoth - large maps, 300 hours of gameplay Tactical Warrior - small maps, smaller games, pure awesomeness. Great Little War Game - war tbs, awesome, long battles(shorter than wesnoth tho) My 4 favourite TBS
So... I've been thinking about what I want in a game and came up with an interesting list that's nothing like all the games I've played on iOS so far. I'm really looking for a game where I can be in control of a nation, where I can put up trade embargoes and enforce them, make pacts and alliances and break them at will. Basically all the larger and greater elements of an RTS without the crappy boring micromanagement /control of units. Is there a game like that out there? Preferably for iOS but not necessarily, since the request is so specific...
Alright, so I´ve been quite busy with work last weeks and months, so I´m not really up to date with games. I´ll purchase those today: - The Secret Of Chateau Moreau - Corona Indie Bundle (Most part for the excellent "Walkabout" and "The Secret Of Grisly Manor") - Jelly Defense - Woolcraft Is Jelly Defense worth it? My favorite TD Game has been "The Creeps" so far. "Protector - The Planes" is good too.
What game should i get if i want a reeaaally reeally long gameplay? Some kind of adventure game or what would be the best? Could someone give me some good examples that i should check out?
Myst, Riven or Broken Sword. Myst and Riven are really hard, and not everyones cup of tea though, but check em out.
Ah i forgot to mention that i'm not interested in anime graphic games... I can't stand that style Tblrsa: I'll check out those, thanks.
It´s a pity you can´t stand the style because you are really missing out with Phoenix Wright, but It´s not for everyone I guess.
