Peggle is pretty good, definitely a classic but I'm not sure when Peggle Nights is coming out... if it's coming soon then I'd probably wait. Geospark is awesome you should pick that up right away! Rolando 2 is a classic too but recommend you get the free version and pay for levels as you go, if you want to. I didn't really care for Sway or the first Glyder so my comments won't really help on those. Never played Blue Attack but here Red Conquest is great if you can get into it.
As always, I suggest trying the demos: Rolando 2, Sway and Glyder 1 (part 2 is a refinemenet of basic mechanics found there and adds objects that modify flight qualities) all have Lites. Personally, I loved Sway - it has a unique mechanic and once you get into the rythm of movement it is great, IMHO. Lets me experience some free-climbing fantasies at safe remove . I also loved Glyder 1 - very meditative, beautiful and hectic-free, yet challenging. I'll be buying part 2 as soon as I reduce my backlog a little. Rolando, I couldn't get into. It has a nice visual style and music, though.
i havent played that game, but there are plenty of other .99 games that look like they will last longer than that
After looking at the front page today and seeing the reviews for SD!vR 2010 and Zombeat, I'm actually considering them. Both look like fun. Idk if Zombeat is worth it, since I just bought Rock Band, but I like killing zombies and rhythm games, and it looks like a sick combo of the two, plus some decent music. As for WWE, the fighting system looked a bit... choppy. THe animations look a bit weird, but if the gameplay is any good, that shouldn't be of any concern, although the pinfalls are WAY too quick from videos I've seen. Well, when I went with the front page article on Aztec Quest it turned out to be awesome, so should I go for it now? And still wondering about Driver compared to Driver 2.
Xmas season is practically over. You'll get sick of Santa playing Sick of Santa when it aint Santa season.
Sooo... are Smackdown vs. Raw, Zombeat, Driver, and Inotia 2 worth it? Just don't want to waste money, and I just figured I'd ask one more time before making a decision.
Hey guys, I've been really considering buying Inotia 2 for while but have a few questions regarding gameplay. I'm LOVING SEED 1 right now mostly because of the rare set drops, the probability of failing refine/compounding/socketing (autosaves after failed attempts... frustrating but high on replay value), etc that makes me go back to farm massively so I can refine an item to a certain level. I also appreciate the fact that they let you start a new game+ that lets you keep your equipment and 30% of your stat points so I can go and try a new class. Does Inotia 2 have any of those features? Also, I downloaded the lite version of Inotia 1 and it is SO SLOW it hurts my head to move from one map to the other. On SEED there is a speed setting that I've played at fastest from the start, which makes the game go by much faster and gives it more of a challenge. I've heard really good things about Inotia 2 so I don't want to discount it based on the horrible demo experience of Inotia 1, but gotta ask before I plunk down $8. I know there is a leaderboard and (a broken?) online pvp which I'm really looking forward to, but only if I can survive the gameplay. Thanks guys!
Inotia is in my opinion, not as good as see die to the different fighting mechanic. Seed is much more action based, but inotia less. Also, in inotia, item space is VERY limited. Overall, if you like RPGs, Inotia is a great buy, but if you're mre of an action gamer, just stick with seed.
I'm liking Rock Band alot right now. Much better than Tap Tap and better song list. Could someone answer my question please? Curious about a few games on the last page that I listed.
Only thing I can help you with is with driver and I recommend that but I will say that I don't feel like it has much replay value. it's great though and the campaign is awesome
Thanks for answering. I'm just curious though, how long is the campaign? if it doesn't have a ton of replay, I want to make sure the game is of decent length.
Actually I lied, there are different game modes to play after your done with the campaign(such as pursuit and other things) but for some reason they didn't intrigue me and just like that Driver was deleted. i can't give you an accurate length for the campaign, but I'd say it's about 2 hours., idk for sure. But I can tell you that it was the only game I was playing for a good 3-4 days.
is that a relatively long time? I play new games constantly soon after I get them but if it's a truly long-lasting replayable game I'll still at it months later. Galcon comes to mind instantly, not much else.
Thanks for the input. I think I'll stick with playing Driver 2 on my PS2 for now. As for the others, I'll probably get them in the morning, probably along with Trenches. Any game with a sEcret zombie mode is usally awesome.
