Haha yeah at the time I posted that I thought that it ran on a 2nd gen... I went ahead and bought it just to have on my computer untill I upgrade to a 5th gen.
Galcon Fusion, War Pinball, Call of Duty 4 (seems a bit pricy after playing through the campaign on three separate consoles maybe a total of 7-8 times) Recently bought and removed from my: machinarium, World of goo, Gameloft sale right now, Osmos Also, could you recommend any other mac games that I might not have played on a console already (so not like the CoD's or the Gta's). I have never been a PC gamer (not even a little bit) until I got lion, so I'd say there is probably a lot of great PC games I have never heard off that are hopefully on the mac store by now. So far world of goo is my supreme favorite in mac games, and maybe even all games now that i have played it on the bigger screen. I don't like fps's too much on the PC (could't say no to Gameloft's offerings at 99c though). Maybe on open world game?
Just got MCD for the Mac. I think I'm going to get back into computer gaming again. It's been a while. Probably going to pick up Starcraft 2 this weekend and possibly a few more titles from the Mac AppStore. Time to get back into the RTS scene :]. Consequently, looks like I'll probably be starting my personal embargo on casual titles on the iOS. After over two and a half years of them, they just aren't too appealing to me anymore. Way too hard juggling around multiple platforms as well when I'm getting every good new casual game that comes around. Need to play my 3DS as well, and I'm probably going to be getting the Vita when that comes out. Still excited as hell for Shadowgun though. But games like Shadowgun are probably all I'm going to go for though from now on, with the exception of KRPGs. I love those. I have a huge backlog of all kinds of casual games on my iPod right now, but yeah, it's not going to grow anymore unless there's something really special that comes out. It's going to be a hard transition away from the $0.99 price point mindset.
backstab, tiny heroes, silent ops, splinter cell, monsters ate my condo, destinia, jAggy racer, race illegal, togu 2, anything else from past couple o weeks? any reccommendations will do. keep in mind, ive only got 11 bucks left. it's unsure when imma get a gc, and i gotta save for the likes of mc3, shadowgun, warm gun, etc. So I want super awesome ones. And, I wanna know if I should save instead. so are any completely awesome must-have status?
Out of all of those, only Tiny Heroes, jAggy Racer and MAMC actually stand out. Otherwise, you might way to save your money. Warm Gun is going be $4.99, MC3 is going to be $6.99, and Shadowgun could possibly be $9.99.
yea those 3 are the best. But why would he save for MC3 when only information we have is Fall? It could come on November, though I hope it comes out in September(wishful thinking)
so i got jetpack joyride, flight control, monster dash recently and i'm loving them all. what other must haves are similar to those games?
Lego Star Wars is great, if you're into the Lego video game gameplay or Legos or Star Wars. Also, you need Braid. NEED. Trine is awesome eye candy and a good platformer (2.5D graphics). That's all I can think of at the moment, but I'm sure we'll continue to see quality ports. You can ask crex, too. He's another fellow Mac gamer.
A MUST HAVE game on the Mac App Store right now that you need to get: DeathSpank. Absolutely fantastic. I'd also recommend The Next BIG Thing if you like point and click games. Here is the full list of Mac games that I have currently installed that I recommend: DeathSpank The Next BIG Thing LEGO Star Wars Edge Precipice of Darkness Trine
Bought MAMC on your recommendation (hadn't heard much about it other than that it was GOTW). No pressure. SO, my question of whether or not Xtreme Wheels is a must-have still stands.
Nice. MAMC is a great action-puzzle game that involves simple game mechanics but the game is so addicting! The game is simple yet hard at the same time. It's easy to learn but hard to master.
Thanks for the suggestions! I think ascension is to hardcore to be played by anyone. Caracasone looks interesting. Anyone else have any suggestions? Criteria: 1: a-sync multiplayer 2: strategic 3: playable by anyone Not wordfued.
Haven't played Tiny Heroes and I bet it's good but TLR has so gorgeous 8-bit graphics and chiptunes! The game is great but the looks just make it better.
Considering there's less than 300 titles for the Mac even on Steam.. In any case, I'm thinking about getting CoD:MW2 and CS:S for my Mac this weekend, lol.
