there r 3 battle for wesnoth's which to get? should i get it at all? i heard its fun but i dont know!!! what do you do in the game?
To Buy or Not To Buy: Battle for Wesnoth? Yes yes I have looked at the main thread, but I want to post this as an individual thread because I want a quick answer . Battle for Wesnoth: 99 cents today only. Worth it? I have heard rave reviews but I'm not sure what you even do in the game! Please guys tell me whether to get it or not and givve me a couple solid reasons why. Thanks
BFW is probably THE best game/app in terms of bang for your buck. If you've ever liked the turn based strategy genre, you will like it. Get it now.
Well lets see... $0.99 that will give you a few hundred hours of very solid, engaging, and very diverse gameplay with constant MASSIVE "FREE" updates that have only made the game even better as well as added even more longevity to an already great game... or... $0.99 that you can buy a cheeseburger with that you'll crap out by the end of the night and forget about the next morning. Dude...get the game already.
To make up for my spam I'll offer a good suggestion Battle Blasters! omgomomg its teh best gaem evr dood!
WHOO!!! it _IS_ the best game ever! at least one of them. i have to say that there are a few recent games that may be just as or almost as good! (space miner, parachute ninja, geosnake, colorbind, labyrinth 2, peggle, critter crunch, PvZ)!
I'll agree with you on the first and last ones, as well as Labyrinth 2. All great games. And you seem to be forgetting Brothers in Arms 2. Best FPS to date imo.
I don't get why people want to play Console games on their ipods. It just feels so...cramped. I mean yeah it's cool that you're playing some big name game on your little ipod, but I'd rather spend that time playing on my xbox, or a game on my ipod that doesn't make me feel like I'm just playing the game because of what it is rather than how much fun it is. To each his own I guess...
no no no no... that is not what i meant. here is why... i am 16 years old. i own a wii and a ps2 (though the ps2 is simply for ddr, which i happen to be a beast at). ok, so i have a REALLY tough schedule, 2 AP classes, and 4 Honors classes. as you can expect, i get a lot of hw from them. (next year i will have 4 AP classes ). i am also on the tennis team (and tennis season just started- practice or match every school day), and i volunteer on the weekends at my religious school for 3 hours. so i have ABSOLUTELY no time to play console games any more. NO TIME AT ALL. i really love mario, but i have barely played the new super mario brothers wii game since i got it the day it came out. the iphone is really perfect for me, as you can tell. so really, i have no problem playing toned down FPS games like nova on the iphone. as a matter of fact, i really like more of the thinking and action games as you can tell in my previous post. since you are my age, i think you can understand.
Yeah I have an ass load of APs and honors. Don't really have much time to play on xbox either. But I cannot substitute it with NOVA and MC:S...it just doesn't feel 'fun'. Yup thinking/action games are awesome. But how is NOVA thinking? It spoon feeds you the enemies and route to your goal. Now let's get back to recommending Hook champ and battle blasters.
nova isnt thinking. i mainly like thinking games with action and strategy implementations. nova is an exception. yep. battle blasters is great!
