I'm actually curious about the same thing, it's gotten a lot of good reviews so I'll probly get it. Also: does Cavorite, Bouncy Mouse, NyxQuest, Pickpawcket, and Blobster make a good set of games to buy for a road trip (and I'd play them beyond of course...). Or do you have any suggestions besides that? (not a huge fan of rpgs though, and I'm already looking into Kairosoft in case of a sale, not that it's not worth $4 for GDS, but I know they'll have another sale, so...)
It's good. There's a front page TA review for it and the threads for it are full of praise. Definitely worth grabbing while it's on sale.
Best Asyncronous Games Hey all! So I have just recently discovered the awesomeness of Words With Friends, Ascension, and Disc Drivin'. They have monopolized my time for the last few weeks. My question to you, fellow TAers, is this: What are your favorite asyncronous games? I think I might just stick to those and deadlock for a bit Thanks!
I definitely agree, but there has to be something to keep me busy while waiting for people to play on Disc Drivin'.
Are there any good side scrolling games where you grind to rank up and get new weapons/armor? Something like Zombieville but more complex, maybe more like Colosseum Heroes but doesn't have IAPs.
You my friend are looking for Hybrid by gamevil. There are 2 of them but IMO the second one is better.
Although I wouldn't necessarily consider it too much more complex than Zombieville, I'd recommend Fastar! It should at least tide you over for a bit until Zombieville 2 comes out.
Try Twin Blades... Also, here's a list of some side scrolling RPG style games; they're not all quality: Asrai Blade Master: Prelude to Destruction Caligo Chaser Colosseum Heroes Demon Hunter Dragon of the Three Kingdoms Dragon Story Fastar! Hybrid: Eternal Whisper Hybrid II: Saga of Nostalgia Illusia Mana Chronicles Maplestory: Theif Edition [Free] Maplestory: Cygnus Knight Edition Mini Fighter 1 Princess Fury Qalvinius [Free] Sad Princess Samurai Girl SeedFantasy Ep1. Defense the seed Sword & Dice Third Blade Vanquish: Oath of Brothers [Free]
Thanks for the suggestions guys, the list was a great help too, really appreciate it! Managed to find a few good ones already.
Don't know if I will get any responses for this, but I will ask anyway. Pages, or Documents to Go I have Office squared but it is pretty barebones, does not support enough fonts, and does not support the 2008 versions for Excel and Powerpoint (xlsx, pptx). I know pages is just for docs, but is probably going to be the most full featured, easy to navigate, ios intuitive, and advanced one being made by apple. But it cannot export in docx only doc, so I wonder if all the formatting will mess up when I change it to docx on my computer (which I prefer to use by far). It seems like Doc to go might be the best since it supports all the file types, and it seems more full featured (but also 7 bucks more). Any opinions. Edit: And there is also quickoffice which seems less featured as well... maybe
Is it? All I know is that they said the iPhone version would come out ~a month after the iPad version. They haven't said anything since in the thread or on Twitter.
iBlast Moki 2 I don't know anything else that's coming out though, lol. Does anyone else know of any other big releases coming? Last week of releases for me before college :[. That'd be awesome. Hoping it's true.
Other than iBlast Moki2...I'm really hoping Madden HD comes out this week. Wouldn't hurt if FFTHD did as well but that one I doubt.
damn backtothis. hope u still hang around here as much as you do. or almost as much... and i don't think pocket rpg is comin. jdragoon asked cm, and they said it's gonna be ready next week. (according to the cm fanboy thingy) I think that means they're gonna submit it next week. so my guess is the week after.
They will be announcing releases soon. I saw their twitter and they said they SHOULD be ready by next week.
