Darn got all those! Thanks though! EDIT:Thinking of making a TOFFTArcade thread where members can post a game they always wanted to try and get impressions from people who are slightly looser with their money. Maybe their could be a designated toffter for the day. What do ya think?
Here are some more: The entire hook series by Rocketcat (Hook Champ, Super Quickhook, and Hook Worlds), Continuity 2, Battleheart, and Plunderland. Hopefully you don't have all of those already!
Here's my thoughts on that idea: 1. Have to have 50 + posts (or something to that effect and not be a dev of that game . (i can see some people taking desperate measures...) 2. I like the idea of TOFFT Thread, but i really don't like the "toffter of the day" unless people volunteer. That's a different story . I'd probably end up looking there for specifics, and here for awesome game ideas...
Just copy and paste what I put: TOFTA - Take One for TouchArcade And the rules of the thread should be: -Must have 50-100+ posts to TOFTA - You cannot be the developer of the game that you TOFTA - A TOFTA MVP is chosen every week.
Okay thread is up! http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?p=1844899#post1844899 Crex thanks for the help with the rules. I actually had my own but yours sounded better so I used it instead.
By the way, Red Conquest is the best RTS on the iOS, hands down. Just wanted to throw that out there before I call it a day. It's one of the only games I'm certain will always be in my top 10 iOS games. But yeah, lol. Also, although the game is not universal, it looks great on the iPad and plays even better than it does on the iPod. For any RTS fans out there (which TA severely lacks somehow!), please go grab the game. It's only $0.99. Can't believe I never made this post in the past year and a half that I've been playing the game. And no, Starfront, LASW, Warfare Incorporated, and Red Alert don't hold a candle against it. By the way, did I mention how great online multiplayer works? Woops. But seriously, if you're a fan of RTS games on any level, get the game.
So..where the hell is FFT? Anyways...Cordy, Roboto, Gesundheit, and Mad Wheels look like pretty good purchases though. Not sure Silent Ops would be something I'd want though. Meh. We'll see if the impressions in the main thread get any better throughout the day. There's so many quality platformers released these days though. Edit: Add Hungribles to that list as well. Damn, Groove Coaster looks pretty good as well..
Dream Track Nation is a very solid one for a buck, or at least so I've heard (i'll be picking it up when i have money on my account). I'd say wait on silent ops, at least until more reviews and such come out. From what I'm hearing, there's a bunch of bugs and what not, so I'd at least pass for now...
Yep, those for me too, except Cordy. Sucks that I won't be able to play Gesundheit, but that isn't going to stop me from buying it. These 2 are on my maybe list. Definitely thinking about getting Hungribles.
