I was sort of their 2g tester to see how well it ran. With 3+ people, it got really laggy for me so they decided to go with 3rd gen and up. Btw, you can run it on a 2g, but it will be really laggy.
Uhh, don't want to be insensitive or anything, but that IS a waste of time. What's the point of downloading his free game just to delete it immediately? It's not like you're actually donating money to him. Sorry, but some people have better things to do than spend the time to download an app they are not interested in just to delete it immediately.
i Agree Downloading the App and deleting it just gives false stats which are annoying to developers as they want to see how much people have played their game to know if they should add more stuff to it. Downloading the kids game and deleting it has no point at all. They won't be making anything from it.
The red arrow pointers in Bomberman Dojo seem a bit weird.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qmkf0x6GFvo
So what is the one game I must have right now? Something to eat up a lot of time, but something to turn on and play before a lecture starts.
What is wrong with you people that you can't take 30 seconds to put a smile on a sick kid's face by downloading his game for FREE? You spend your days playing video games so dont act like your time is too important to help out a kid with cancer. Karma is a bitch and it will come around.
Lame. Wah, wah. . . it will disrupt the precious stats. It's not about money!! It's about a sick kid. Some day you'll grow up and realize how selfish this is.
But you don't know if it's good or not. The reviews in the thread are actually good. And I couldn't have been more clear about why people should download the game and check it out. Yup, making a sick kid smile is worthless. You clearly don't have much life experience. Now return to spending your days playing video games and acting like a spoiled brat.
Hmm, no thanks. No offense to anyone who enjoys it, but I've outgrown that stage of my life. I was leaning towards Battleheart, but something is preventing me from getting it and nothing I've read about it seems to sway me either way. What to do, what to do...
I don't understand how we can put a smile on his face just by downloading his app. Is there some sort of telepathic communication going on between us and him when we click that download button?
He was saying that what's the point in downloading it and deleting it? Nothings gained from it. Gosh........ Plus i don't think it's cancer.
"It is the individual who is not interested in his fellow men who has the greatest difficulties in life and provides the greatest injury to others. It is from among such individuals that all human failure springs." - Alfred Adler If I could download a free app just to put a smile on the face of a kid in need, I am going to do it without thinking. I hope some of you can reevaluate your statements. And sure the kid may not know that you downloaded it, but the statistics show him that people care enough to make him feel important in a time of need. It's an easy selfless act that can make an east difference in someones life. @Jibba and anyone else who downloaded this app - I admite your altruistic actions. Now...What is the name of this app?
I think they are all talking about Allied Star Police. Here is the description on the iTunes Store: Allied Star Police (A.S.P.) was conceived and designed by the incredibly talented and energetic nine-year-old game designer, Owain Weinert. Owain came to PopCap by way of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Alaska and Washington and worked with a crack 4th & Battery team to create an actual game out of his fertile imagination. Owain pushed the team to their limits to make sure that A.S.P. delivered on his game dreams and we certainly hope that you enjoy it. For my part, I have downloaded a million free apps for a lot of really stupid reasons. I think I can download another one to help Owain feel special before he dies - it is what the Make a Wish Foundation is about. So click that download button people Then delete it off your iDevice if you don't like it... not too much effort to help out a non-profit, a dying boy, and rest a little better tonight.
Look, I don't want to argue with you about this, but please think it through. He made this game through the Make-a-Wish Foundation, a foundation organized to provide one single wish to children with life threatening medical conditions. His one single wish in the world was to make this game. You don't think it would put a smile on his face to see it reach #1 in the AppStore for even just one day? And what about his parents? You have no idea what it's like having a child with a life-trheatening medical condition. I just think that, given how little time and effort it would take people, there's no reason not to download his game.
