BBB is more casual and is way more frantic. Its like a completely different expeirence I highly recomend it. Is Async corp good? Would cloneggs be better?
Hmm, maybe not if you did not like both of them. I did not like the original, but thought zombies was decent fun. I liked the pick up and play shooter style, as there are not to any good ones i can think of. Never been a fan of their graphics, but I thought this and shake spears were the two better casual releases this week.
What the heck then, alright. Thanks guys, I'll grab it. Going to pass on Qubit, Blobster, and Shake Spears until multiplayer comes out. Probably going to wait for a sale for Xtreme Wheels too o.o.
Okay, so does everyone like this list with my $6? Lego HP (even though I've never done any HP stuff before! Any help on gameplay and such?), Paper Racer, Shake Spears, and 9 innings saving Swords and Soldiers for later? Or should i save something else for later and get Swords and Soldiers? Or do you have any awesome suggestions for games since I don't have many games on my device
Finished post... I'll be waiting for your unbiased assessment on the game (a huge NO THANKS to everyone else ) Async corp??? BUY IT NOW!!! Check the reviews and decide for yourself (google anyone?). I'm not a big puzzle gamer the only two puzzle games I've enjoyed before Async Corp are Lumines and World of Goo. Async Corp has a very vibrant, though extremely simplistic art style that somewhat resembles Lumines without the flashy animations and background videos. Satisfaction (for me at least) comes from eliminating huge blocks of 'packages' that is actually easier done than said. Multiple gameplay modes with different objectives will keep the game fresh long before you find another addicting puzzle game on the iOS. My favorite is actually the very relaxing 'freeplay' mode which, do I need to explain? Oh and the overall pace of gameplay is largely dependent on the mode of play and the player. In freeplay mode, you can be just as efficient, if not more by focusing on frantically eliminating small blocks or take some time and make big ones (as in number of blocks eliminated in a player set time frame). Bottom line: no more planned updates (team is disassembled...), no multi task (short start-up time though) and no GC or achievements. But seriously, Lumines was, and still is one of the best puzzle games and it's on PSP therefore it would never dream to have any of the above (unrelated statement much? ) Reviews: Toucharcade Pocketgamer (GOLD AWARD 9/10!? ) 148 (4 1/2 stars + Editor's choice) And I've never heard of Cloneggs until now Damn... I need some cake, and coke too (the soft drink...)
Well if I googled it I wouldnt get the awesome 2 paragraph long explanation on why I should buy it from you lol. Really appreciate all the purchases youve helped me buy.
I've got Journey of Fortune - and I don't mind having it, since I admire it's originality. However, I don't play it much as I don't like the main control mechanism. Basically you spin a wheel to determine your moves. The developer says there's skill involved as you can learn to spin the wheel better, to get the desired outcome, but I'd rather have more skill involved. It's CLOSE to being a great game, but falls short of it's potential IMO. There's a thread for the game and the dev was saying he planned to release updated controls. But that was ages ago.
I agree. BB just isn't for me, the game sucks and all BB games I've ever downloaded were insta-delete's.
Lego HP and 9 Innings are good buys. Swords and Soldiers is pretty decent, too. It's good fun and there's lots of quantity to go along with the quality, but it doesn't do anything terribly different from other similar games so this isn't a must-have recommendation unlike Lego HP and 9 Innings. Way to waste your time. Good job!
Okay so I just created US account and I have 10$ on It now. I got no new releases in 2 weeks, which ones should I get? Thinking of Xtreme Wheels, Puzzle Agent(yh old ik) and Swords and Soldiers and nfs undercover probably too. Any thoughts of these? And can anyone name some US only apps, already got vevo.
