Okay, so I need a few opinions (listens to groaning) oh wait, no, these are all completely different ones . I'm (almost) for sure picking up Paper Racer and 9 innings, and Swords & Soldiers, but that leaves me a few dollars left with a trip coming up very soon. So, I need some opinions/awesome suggestions on ways to spend that money! Here goes my current possibilities: Battle Bears Blast, Gears, Shake Spears, and Lego Harry Potter (even though I'm not a harry potter fan...). Can anyone suggest me some awesome games?
Lego Harry Potter is one of the best adventure games you'll ever play on the iOS. It doesn't matter if you're a fan or not, it's truly a great game and offers a LOT of content. I'm excited as hell for the movie though. Can't catch the midnight premiere, but I'll definitely be seeing it tomorrow. It's the end to my favorite franchise of all time. Harry Potter is something I can proudly say "I grew up with."
I tried the lite version of Shake Spears, and it was pretty fun. It looked like there was quite a bit of content too. Of course the gameplay itself is pretty simple, so it could end up getting fairly repetitive after a while. But what was there was nicely done. If you like card games, I highly recommend Ascension. There's a lite version which you can fully play (just can't play multiplayer).
Huh? It's second place (if there is a 'place') in the Aus New & Noteworthy list and yes, it's rated 17+
Just tried the lite as well, and then bought it. apparently multiplayer is coming soon, so easy buy at 99c. He means its not GOTW. It is N&N in U.S. as well.
Lol..I even said game of the week. ------ Holy crap, Tower Defense by com2us is doing really well. It jumped 5 more spots in the past few hours, landing it right behind Angry Birds. It's been in the top 10 for quite a while now too. Looks like titling the game like they did was a pretty great sales move. I don't think even Plants vs Zombies remained in the top 10 for this long, and I don't remember when any other TD has ever even entered the top 10.
Hm... I have a tendency to read sentences in halves... I just read the pocketgamer review of Monarchia Second Dawn. The theme and gameplay is quite intriguing though I'm not sure if the game will be updated/improved in response to the mentioned issues. Assuming that it's not going to be updated, is the game still worth playing in its current state?
9mm and Reckless Getaway are both pretty fun games; good stuff. Does anyone have anything good to say about BBB, Qubit, or Blobster? Yeah, that's right, I'm asking about one dollar games. But yeah, anyone?
BBB and Quibit are must buys!!! Can't believe you haven't got those yet. If I had to choose one it would be BBB though. On another note Async Corp or Time Geeks Cloneggs?
yeah BBB is great. Don't have Qubit, but I deleted Blobster after two levels. I really liked shake spears, although it is a shallow game. But the devs did say multiplayer is on its way.
It's weird how everyone loves BBB though no one explains why the actual gameplay is addicting... And to echo someone's quote: WhyTF use a MICROWAVE for a weapon!? Seriously!? BB is known for cute and cuddly bears and random weapons but MICROWAVE??? I'd be having more fun popping pop-corns then blasting (cooking?) bears with a hand-held microwave (what about the radiation?)
Lego Harry Potter ----------- What do you actually do in BBB? Am I going to like it if I didn't like the other two BB games at all, which I found to be really, really boring.
Someone talked about Shake Spears earlier, it's a great game with lots of content and yea I asked the dev, he says they're working on multiplayer
