Maybe Illusia will be right up your alley if you don't have it already. Other than that they're aren't too many games like it....
By eternal, do you mean eternity or hybrid? Caligo chaser and third blade are fun for a bit but they aren't as complex as I would like. I just loved stringing together large combos in hybrid. Are there any others like that? I like being able to swich up the basic combo, hold the attack button for a super charged attack and having some special skills that can launch enemies in the air. Oh and dash attack. Axion looks more like zenonia than hybrid.
Yep, just saw the review. Going to pick it up now. Will have to wait until tomorrow to play it as my battery is chugging and I need to restore, but it seems really solid. Remember playing the PS2 version of it a while back.
How bout adding another dimension to the game and I'll recommend you DMC4:R instead? If you ever find a 2D iPhone game that matches your description, send me a pm and I'll buy it too. I've been looking for something like that for quite some time now...
Not at all. Nice. It's the most expensive game I've bought in a long, long time lol. Never picked up FFIII or Chaos Rings Omega, and I got Aralon, Real Racing 2, GTA: CW, Galaxy on Fire 2, etc. plus all of Gameloft's/EA's games when they first came out at $6.99, so the only games I remember paying more than that is COD: Z which cost me $20 total and Chaos Rings which cost $12.99. Well, I guess I paid $12 for GoF 2 since I got the iAP. It's been a while, heheh. Anyways, it's an awesome game and worth the price. Edit: Oh wait, Street Fighter IV cost $9.99 when I bought it, aha. Guess KoF was the better deal after all.
In gameplay, by far. In features, no. I'm pretty sure I'll still have more playing friends online on Volt.
Ooops sorry my bad I meant Eternity! Skip on Eternity lol. Assuming you have the second Hybrid there arent so many games like that on the app market. Really cant think of anything off of the top of my head.
I was under the impression that KoF didn't have any kind of multiplayer at all. Turns out there's bluetooth. F**k Volt.
Have it. Gamplay was the one good part of it though. Though its still good enough to be worth it. Will do though. Hope they make a hybrid 3.
Gta and RR2 launched at 6.99? Thats nice. Bought GTA a few months back at 9.99, played the same length as the tutorial, lost my game save when restoring to the touch and never bothered to redownload and play again. Got volt and SFIV at 99c, and feel like I would pay ten times more had I known how good it was on ios (never even bothered to look at a review till the sale). Bought Avatar at $10 a few days before it dropped (played through it twcie though so can't complain). Oh yeah, and I bought star battalion after reading your review a few days before it dropped as well (That was when i was just getting into reading the forums for new games impressions, and I thought that was a professional review lol). Thats what the review made it sound like to. Glad for it, but I have never used local multiplayer on any game, so not much use to me. Hope for online I guess.
I'm flattered, lol. I thought it was on sale at the time :[.. It's been quite a few months since I wrote a review..got too lazy, heh. You should go look through the review section and go to the pages from 2009. It honestly felt like there were five new reviews a day at the time. Big Albie was the man.
yeah no, your right. getting confused with another game I bought at the same time (sacred odyssey i think). Worked out well though as I played that one through as well and got a couple multiplayer sessions with it. Yeah the User reviews section is dead. I think your review is still on the first page. I actually used quite a few of Big Albie's reviews when deciding to buy some games a while back. Liked em just as much as the front page ones.
Oh really. That would make more sense. One of those things you miss when your not a part of the forums. Was? As in no longer is?
The guy hasn't really been around since mid-2010. There was some crap going on at the time, and I guess he wanted to be somewhere else instead.
