    No. Backups only save user info, address book, app saves, etc. You have to backup apps/music/podcasts/other media separately.

    i have a big problem with my iphone 3G, when i was on firmware 4.0, my wifi worked perfectly with no problems until i updated the firmware to 4.0.2, now i cant even detect any wifi on my iphone from the update. I have seen a lot of people with this problem and dont know if its a bug from the 4.0.1 update when apple tweaked the frequency on the signal bars and now it cant detect wifi. ;(

    when upgrading to 4.0.2 from 4.0, does iTunes just wipe everything off, restore to 4.0.2 firmware, then slap the backup data back on like it did with 3.x --> 4.0?
