Mass Effect: Infiltrator - (by Electronic Arts)

Well it's a videogame, what can you expect... although it really isn't quite worth all those annoyingly boring talks.

 

Yes I've never played ME, I don't own a console. And btw the word is boring.

 

You don't need a fast PC to run mass effect. Even my two year old laptop can handle Mass Effect 2 with max settings at 1080p. (and the ME3 demo with everything except for Anti Aliasing)

 

It was never a mod, it was in the game.

 

I heard through twitter that some people are getting promo codes for this game. Anyone know anything about this? I want one!!!

This is gonna be awesome! Wonder how they intergrated it with the console Version?

 

A guy replied to me on twitter and apparently the codes are going out to reviewers, which means there's pretty much no chance of us regular folk getting our hands on them, but it also means the game must be really close to being released. My money's on tuesday along with ME3.

 

since they are going to intergrate the ios and the console version, im guessing everything els would be bretty dump! what you do on the ios version shoould help you in the console versoin, in the same way the multiplayer should have an impact on the singleplayer! but as said before, i don't know what kind of impact!

 

From what they have said it ties into galactic readyness, which might just be a meter or might actually have people in game joining your cause. I'm guessing its all tied by EA origin account which I know from the demo you need to have to play online. So once you complete infiltrator, and its tied to origin, in your main game your meter will increase saying your better prepared for the reapers, or if we are lucky the guy from infiltrator will turn up and be on your side.
The multiplayer is supposed to send your characters into the main game once you have prestiged them (level 20) so why not have the infiltrator character prestige and be added to the main game...one can hope.

 

Working my way thought the trilogy over the summer and am stocked for the IOS versio, but...

Huge tentacled merciless unknowable god like monsters that return to enslave / consume all life once an aeon when - basically - the stars are right?

the graphics look top notch. I'm hoping there are more interesting levels, I'm sure there are. Definately looks like a quality game. Instabuy for me.

The controlls don't look that great. I mean, you have to reach into the middle of the screen to aim in (comfortable and not at all screen obscuring) and with everything tied to swipes and taps without virtual buttons the controlls seem to sometimes just not do what that person in the video wanted.

It should be out sometime next week, either tuesday with Mass Effect 3 or thursday with the usual big releases.

 

yeah, I noticed that too, but i'm going to wait until i can try it out to make a decision.

And for those asking about an ETA, it's very likely that it will be out March 7th alongside Mass Effect 3. (Dead Space released alongside Dead Space 2)
