I would like for those who posted saying that Burn Out crash is 'fun' to post a video of them playing or evidence to backup that claim. I am a super hardcore gamer and I know what's good and what's bullcrap. All my friends who played the same game say it sucked. I bought it, tried my best to enjoy it buy sorry, NO , this game is a total failure from the first level. You can't drive the car. U don't even drag it. U flick the stupid wreck randomly and the control is horrible. For those who say its fun on the iOS please back up ur claim. U don't "drag" the car at all. I would like to see a video on how u could even pass the first level. Not on pS3, not on Xbox, but on ur iPhone or iPad. If u guys still don't believe me, ok, go ahead, buy it, and post ur afterthought after trying like mad to pass even the first few levels with all the required stars.
Are u sure? From what I played. U need to flick like mad and wait for the explosion to fill up. NOT 'every car u crash'. You can ONLY flick the stupid wreck for a SHORT distance and when I say SHORT, I mean REALLY SHORT. Before u know it, it 'explodes' and shoot too far away uncontrolably. I really hope u guys who write reviews can be a little more honest
have to completely agree with AlienSEX... the only thing Burnout Crash on the iOS did for me was get me pretty frustrated. I was able to get 5 stars (or whatever the highest amount is) on level 1, but only after about 15 playthroughs, and have only got 1 or 2 on levels 2 and 3... I couldn't play any more after that. After playing Burnout on my old XBOX, the crash mode was one of my favorite things about the game. I use to take my little TV and XBOX to work with me when I worked 3rd shift at Waffle House years ago, and play it all night. But this... is just frustrating. I'm sure there are people out there who it just 'clicks' for... but I have no idea how they're doing it. I've gone through the tutorial numerous times, I've watched reviews on youtube... no luck getting it right. Oh well... Maybe for a buck it's worth checking out... but I deleted it after about 45 minutes after paying full price. =o/
Just wanted to confirm that both apps are on sale (US$.99 equiv.) in German, Austrian and Swiss iOS App Stores. Reached the five stars in Burnout Crash first level in my third attempt. Made more short swipe gestures and tapped around a bit. Seems to be a rather brainless game but with pretty nice animations and explosions. There seems to be some strategy in it (pile up a bunch of wrecks on each road and flame them at the end, you can also destroy buildings), don't let escape too many cars. Yes it's rather unreal because you can still move your burning wreck but it's fun for a while. There are also some casino minigames in it. More an optical thing for fans of frenetic smashing and destroying. Mass Effect seems to be pretty hard but looks gorgeous on iPad 3. Good sound with headphones. Main thread with 350+ postings (some videos at first), maybe read the last five or ten pages (there was an update with better controls now) and decide: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=124714
Oh sorry, you are correct. It's been a while since I last played Burnout Crash so maybe I forgot it. Flicking the will fill it up. Thanks .
So... I'm a bit confused here... Is $2.99 the sale price for ME:I here in the US store? Or will it drop to $0.99?
This. The scoring is too random and getting highscores are usually accidental. Deleted after about an hour of playtime after i payed full price too.
You sucking at the game =/= it not being fun. Grow the f up and don't use your opinion as a fact Game Is fun IMO, differently worth the $.99 price tag !!
Grow some eyeballs and read above. 3 people including me deleted the game after trying hard to play the garbage. More bad reviews of it can be found in the AppStore. U want fact? Let me give u a f-ing fact: people don't delete a game so soon if it is not crap. Definitely NOT worth even a single cent.
This. So some people don't like it... then fine. But some people do, and get a lot of enjoyment out of it. It's a matter of opinion and considering the needs of the gamer. My son is 3, and doesn't care about getting a highscore. He just wants to drive a car into an intersection, and see a lot of explosions and flashy effects. I would highly recommend this game for kids, even at full price.
Yup... S'why i said this. A couple of my friends liked it, and a couple deleted it in less than a couple hours, as i did.
Burnout Crash is already .99 As for Infiltrator it's quite strange... Apparently it's 2.99$ in US but 0.99$ everywhere else? In appshopper it actually appears 2.39 but in the app store it's 0.79.
well, decided to risk it on Burnout since it was only a buck Played a few levels, and am already losing interest. it just isn't too much fun, the flicking doesn't work/implemented as well as I would have liked. The music and the look of the cars are really putting me off too. this is all very subjective, it might be fun for other people as is obvious from all the previous posts.
