Too much SSX hate going around. The trailer looks just like the SSX3 mountain and everyone loved that game. Why are people saying it's too realistic? The guy jumped out of a helicopter and did a bunch of flips, he's got a wing suit and we know from previous info that you can ride an avalanche. Realism that is not. The bright colours and pretty effects were toned down in SSX3 as well, but it seems everyone's forgotten.
Aww yeah. 2011's gonna be a year to remember. Uncharted 3, Portal 2, and Mass Effect 3 to boot. I suppose I'd be more excited for Forza 4 as well if the third iteration didn't just barely come out.
Stripping out all the fun and colourful stuff in favour of dudebro grim dreck is a step backwards for the series. Tom Clancy over the top is not the same as cartoonish over the top.
