Yeah, I have been reading that the game turned out quite decent. A few "goty in january" lines here and there. Nothing major. heh. Who's buying it? I'm picking my copy as soon as I get out of class. This game is going to be ace.
I will be getting it today and playing non-stop until I beat it. And then like with the first one I'll play again and again and beat it many more times
I'm still playing the first one (Got it December for $5). I'll probably finish by the time the next one comes out.
I just finished the first one today. Man, the sequel is such an improvement in terms of gameplay and level of polish.
Oh okay, gotcha I've only played it an hour so far, most of it was cut scenes, but WOW this game so far is awesome. I didn't think I'd like the whole ammo/reloading mechanism over the previous mechanism, but I was wrong. This way it feels much better, they really seemed to fine tune the shooting in this one.
- In terms of visuals, Mass Effect 2 trumps about anything I've seen this gen. The character design, performance (!), lighting and geometry trump the original. - In terms of gameplay, ME2 is much more fun and polished. The controls rock, and are definitely as good as, say, Gears of War 2. The combat itself is absolutely fantastic. - The story so far seems pretty interesting, and the new characters are really cool. - The cinematics are unparalleled. In a few words, it rocks.
So sad to have beaten this game already. What a wonderful experience, managed to make it out with my entire crew alive. Wish ME3 was out. Oh well, I have Dead Space waiting for me now.
