Generally, idle progression will be a lot better after transcending at least once, because you'll get those sweet relics to boost your stats. Maybe you're not feeling the effects as much because your current team is reaching its limit? I do like how there are lots of things that carry over to give you a feeling of continued progression and getting stronger as usually I hate transcend type things but it works here. I do feel the offline progress is slow, I was offline while sleeping and logged back in and I’d done about 20 levels and again I was just off for maybe 5 hours and had done the same amount. But 20 is nothing that’s what 2 stages? When I don’t start getting stuck until floor 100+ it takes forever to get back there and I don’t want to keep the game open tapping orbs just to get further much much quicker I want to progress while offline. Like on afk arena you earn specific amounts depending how far you are and it just stops after 12 hours offline. Other similar games keep progressing your stages but once you get as far as your characters can go it stops, but then you can log in and spend you cash doing upgrades etc then close it again and they will progress further now they are stronger. From what I can gather, you seem to be able to advance 20 stages. Do note that in the idle progression tooltip, it's showing how many stages you've advanced and not the number of waves. So 20 stages = 200 waves There are a couple of ways you can reach your previous highscore quicker. For example, the Daunting Bell relic which decreases the number of waves in each stage, and the Twilight Clock relic which straight up skips through stages.
