Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel near the end of the stream i set up a couple of co-op plays (yeap it does work) it adds a new level to the game makes it more intense.
Wish there was a way to message others to set up a match. Hard to do Expert on Ronin and Ultron solo.
It's not easier even with co-op. I tried a match with a viewer against Ronin and the pair of us could not beat the character. I suspect that in reality you going to need a super high level team or right combo team that be able to beat him.
It's much easier in Coop. The fights are longer but the key is not only to play your role, but also to pass the bombs to the attacker. It's much easier for the support player to make long chains to generate bombs and pass it to the attacker. The long chains also heal the team. The attacker tries to jockey the bombs closer to the boss to get maximum damage when triggering the bombs. That said however, the tsums do need some levels to have a baseline attack and hp.
Co-op is a bit frustrating, I've only played four matches, 3 with Kaply and 1 with Vexorg. I've tried setting up my team the best I can by playing through the hard levels alone, that lets me get an idea if I need characters who heal or resist burn. It was the last match with Kaply that I found that I could swipe bombs to their device, I was just detonating them before that. I wish there was a better matchmaking system though. So far my four successful matches were with players that joined me...most of the time I'll try creating a match three or four times then head back to the stage missions when it can't find a partner. When I try searching for a partner, the search ends after a second or two. Found two partners that way but they both quit before the battle began. I have a bunch of friends in my list that haven't been playing, I'm looking to replace inactive players with active players. I'm SPM21Bucky in the game, on GameCenter, and Line. Co-op isn't about finding random games. You should try to find a chat group so you can coordinate. Most of the time if you join someone randomly, they'll close the game because they may have already organized a session with someone else over a chat group. I joined your games because it felt like you had them up for a while and was fishing for people. Normally I would only search for games when I'm set to join someone else in a chat group.

Thanks! I do have a lot of "friends" that haven't posted scores in two weeks. Haven't filled up my available friend slots yet, but when I do I'll have to remove the inactive players. I was hoping that battle mode would be similar to the Star Wars event in Tsum Tsum. Thanks for participating in the battles, I thought maybe the lack of available games was due to it being a new app...not a lot of players yet. I had a small friends list in Tsum Tsum until I found a fan page, now I have over 5000 hearts and never have to ask for hearts anymore. I'll see if I can find a page dedicated to the Marvel Tsum Tsum app.
