(Funny, because I've never been to the site, but) That's exactly where my Spider-Man is at, and yeah, he kills everything without concern. Once I realized how good he was I pumped everything into him. Captain Marvel is the best for killing mobs, if you ask me, as she has such a wide and long range for her specials. But she's not as good for single target.
I always knew he was good. I just thought he was a glass cannon that needs to be microed. I didn't think he could solo auto clear chapter 6 elite. Will go all in until they nerf him. Since most of this game is auto clear, I am curious who else can carry two weak characters solo through half of chapter 6 elite at 4 star?
Completed my first Stage 7 Villain Siege today. Woo! (and with a few of my top heroes to spare, but I suspect Stage 8 would still completely wreck me). Hopefully I can keep that up. Also, I'm assuming 320 biometrics for Rank 6? Seems they go up by doubles, so... yeah.
Anybody notice the Hulkbuster daily restarted? I guess they're trying to guarantee anyone who at least picks the game up once a day can get a 3-star character.
I was getting tired of seeing the Hulkbuster screen even after getting him . I'm glad though that they're going to keep giving us biometrics for him.
Hello everyone. Just starting out and I'm hooked. I'm at 4-3 with my basic team & low level vision. Eh. Been draining the elites I can do to 0 while the energy is cheap, but I'm almost at the point I can buy a package. Any of the current hero packages worth it? Really anxious to move on from Cap.
Wow... I finally got Doc Ock to rank3, and it turns out his 3rd skill's pretty shitty. Basically, he loses an early access third damage skill for one that makes his armor "ok". It doesnt even make him noticeably tanky for the sake of making you feel like all the gold put into the skill is worth it. His first 2 damage skills are pretty good (very good in fact), but he does have obvious flaws. He's slow. Slow in a way that pressing the attack button once he attacks TWICE. That means you will eat a lot of unnecessary damage if you use the normal attacks. For all the time and resources i put into him, i can safely say Doc Ock's pretty lackluster in this game.
I'd go for the "Power" package, largely because Luke Cage is a great all round combat hero, and Hulk is very hard to get without doing a lot of Villain Siege. I've heard Vision is pretty good once levelled/ranked up, might be worth thinking about that as an option. I'd stick with Black Widow because she's the easiest to get bios for, as her 3 elite levels are all (relatively) early in the game. Note in the early stages, it's more important to play your strongest 3 as a team (assuming they're balanced of course, you don't want 3 x combat in one team, or any blast opponents are going to be very tough). Ignore the team bonuses for now, your most important job is to build up a kick ass trio, that will serve you well in normal/elite levels, and also arena. As a secondary goal, build up your other characters and recruit new ones, but not at the expense of your mains. You'll need that depth to your roster later for Villain Siege and as assist characters for Arena.
I was thinking of getting the JI package last week, been hearing a lot of good things about Spidey and CM. Unfortunately I didn't have the required amount to get one, and missed out on that. I haven't heard any reactions or advice regarding the new packages for this month. Which of the new ones do you guys think are worth it? I was thinking of getting the Power for Hulk & Cage, or the ToT for Malekith and the Destroyer
Thanks pelennor. I'm so on the fence about picking up the Power package or just wait for the next set. What feedback I've read so far is people so hyped up about JI and Spidey, and established people lukewarm on the recent offerings. Still, you're right about needing a good core up and running in a hurry.
ToT is good in one way because it has two difficult to get heros .. but difficult to get also means difficult to get upgrade bios for. Which means that getting 80, 160, 320 bios for ranking up to ranks 4, 5 and 6 is going to be a very slow and or expensive process. I'd favour the Power one for that reason alone. Of course, you could always take advantage of BOGOF crystals deal and get both. The pack that I'd jump on that they haven't offered yet is Hello Hells Kitchen, although Enemies of Kingpin looks like it has potential too.
If they sell Enemies of Kingpin in the next rotation, i'll buy it faster than anyone could say instabuy.
Yeah my secondary team is Enemies of Kingpin, and at an average of Lv34, they sometimes do better than my main which is Mechanical Mayhem (all characters and skills at 40 except Doc Ock who's 22 upgrades more to max skills, and Ultron's equips are at Lv12, Ironmn at 11, and Doc Ock's at 10-11). Having Punisher as Leader, each character gets +all damage, and rotating means a stun every few seconds. Also, Punisher's kit are decent at interrupting which really limits the enemies' trading capabilities considering Spiderman and Daredevil have stuns. What EoK lacks is a tank, and they dont have a decent Blast source between the 3 of them.
What is the best ISO-8 set bonus? I currently have on attacking, x% chance to get x% max health shield. It does seem to have a cooldown and doesn't seem to proc back-to-back. Just wondering if healing on attack can proc back-to-back (imagine two heals within 5 seconds, that is a game winner). It is gone in like a hit or two in PVP or boss fights, but helps a lot against regular mobs.
Any of the bonuses that require 8 ISO are the best. Find the one the fits the player best. I have Ultron's Hatred on my Spider-Man (best I can get at this level) and I love it.
