Punisher's a kite and counter type of character. It is unusual for a combat type character, but he'll hold on his own if mico'd. Like most kiters, they cant survive auto+ unless they are way ahead than their enemies. As for JI vs EoK, JI is easier to manage (less kiting as they fit into brawling). Venom has good tracking damage and decent interrupts, CapMarvel has a decent kit works surprisingly well even in auto+, and Spidey is just one of the best characters in the game (pretty OP in fact, especially in Arena where the web balls are homing). The advantage in EoK is more obvious when you control them. 2 characters have stuns, which are best used right when the enemy is about to unleash their skills to stop them, and if you are playing as Punisher, any support attack from Spidey or DD has a chance to be their stun attacks, and that is a huge swing in damage opening. On the downside, all 3 characters in this team is on the squishy side of Future Fight.
The team sets keep cycling, so if you see something you're leaning towards, $#!+ or get off the pot. Times a wastin' !
Hey thanks! Yeah.. That's what I was thinking! I'm kind of a daredevil fan that's why the inclination to playing EOK.. but the lack of tanks make it rather lackluster. I guess I would have to up my daredevil first before it becomes viable. It's still only a single star. Punisher will be hitting 3 stars soon tho :| So I guess for EOK you have to use punisher/spidey to clear the initial mobs then Spidey/DD for the boss?
That will work. If Spidey's well updated he could solo most bosses, or at least take a huge chunk of their HP before you'll need to tag him out. The best strategy in missions is still to keep rotating your characters though, to make use of the 1 second invulnerability which translates to 1 or 2 free normal attacks, and swapping also resets cooldowns to 1s.
Yeah, but that's assuming that they offer more package deals soon, which I think is unlikely. You don't offer deals all the time or people come to expect them, which devalues your product.
Hmmm, that might be true. But taking multiple characters versus one at a time usually makes each one last longer if you swap them as soon as you use their abilities. The swap timer resets way faster in Villain Siege, which could be the trade off for invulnerability.
In the early Villain Siege fights, it's better to deploy only one character at a time. That way, if you win with the first hero you send, the next two aren't locked out of later fights. When I'm on what's likely to be my last round, I send the remaining cannon fodder in trios hoping that'll give them some little edge.
Can someone explain to me how ISO item sets work? I understand the bonuses, but when I select a character I see only one set available to me when I select set bonus. But when I select see all, I see a lot of others available. So is there just one set available per character? It's pretty confusing to me. Thanks.
Yeah, only one set available per character and it's determined for you in random. You can change to another random set for 10k gold though
Ok, thanks. But what about 4 and greater item sets. I had some characters with 3 ISO slots open, now they have 4 slots open, but the item set still shows just 3 items. But I know their are 4 item sets. What about that?
I'm embarrassed how many times I've auto played a spider man elite level with superior numbers and came back to a loss.
Hey guys, I'm pretty new here to the site and it seems like I'd be getting really good advice regarding the game. I was gonna ask which package would be worth getting since I don't always get to 1k+ crystals. JI (obviously for CM and Spidey), Iron Mania (for Hulkbuster bios) or Created Ones (for Destroyer bios). Thanks, comments are greatly appreciated
I was tempted to get the Siblings of Asgard but after reading a few posts and watching this Vid: http://youtu.be/_s-PqzJ2HCE I decided to pass on them. Hopefully this Vid will help you decide.
Yup, without rotations to juggle around spiderman's unending cc, he'll take down your charcters one by one. I've done a bit more "observing" into why Spiderman owns in the arena, and here some facts about him: 1. His Web Ball stun is a guaranteed hit in Arena. It fires in a straight line in other modes which makes it easy to dodge moving around him, but it homes in onto targets in the Arena, which is pretty OP and stupid. He even will hit characters behind him with the stun even if he is facing the other direction. 2. His Web Swing, if the first kick hits, YOU WONT BE ABLE TO MOVE. You can only attack or use skills. The problem? Your attacks or skills will whiff while he is Web Swinging. Plus, even if you move to avoid the first hit, the second hit now changes direction and homes in on the target. The second can still be avoided, but it's pretty annoying to deal with coz he's invulnerable the whole animation duration of the web swing. 3. His Jump-Back into Web Slingshot attack, has a farther hopback than say Ultron's which makes it a good counter to a few skills like Powerman's multi-hit punch skill. The second hit (the web slingshot) changes direction and will land if you are within the radius' range around spiderman. All 3 of these attacks have a solid form of "evasion" which translates to him being ahead in terms of damage trade. Honestly i think his stun needs to be nerfed in the arena to remove the guaranteed hit. A well upgraded spiderman will shred your life total everytime his stun is off cooldown. At least his other skill have a chance to be avoided. The stun, impossible to avoid in the arena.
One main reason one would want the siblings of asgard package is to increase the number of characters unlocked to get the bonuses in the Arena. The 3 asgardians in this package is relatively difficult to get compared to other charcters.
As has been mentioned, you only get the hints for the set that you have. You reroll the set (hit Change Bonus Set or whatever it is) until you get the one you want. Then your ISO will fulfill it. You only get the one bonus. I spent about 300,000 getting the 6 ISO slot Ultron's Hatred for Spider-Man, and today I finished filling it fully with 5-star ISOs. He's unstoppable now.
