Because no person that doesnt spend $10000 on gold packages has enough gold in the game to max the skills on all their heroes except the 3 main ones. Thats why The gold scaling on skills are way too high
I've got a million gold with ease at all times in my bank. All my skills in my main are maxed to their level. It isn't hard at all. I've spent no money on gold.
What? I've never seen a Malekith rift and it doesn't show up in the in-game mission dialogue. Screenshot for proof? No team attack in arena. It's not the best arena team, tbh. Venom and Spidey are great. Capt. Marvel is a great story player, mediocre Arena.
Isn't it called "Chitauri's Invasion"? I got nine bios of Malekith don't know where else i got them from.
Chitauri's Invasion is Loki You might have gotten them from Dimension chests or Villain Siege rewards
That's why you WANT it to happen. Not why the developer is going to make it happen. Two different things.
That's a good question, I would assume the team bonus is available even if the team skill is not, but it's possible that's not the case. I know there was a fix in the latest patch for arena to do with leadership skills, but the way it was worded made it hard to tell what was wrong and what they fixed. In any case, you'll get very handy bonuses in arena simply by unlocking as many characters as you can, even if you do nothing with them. My advice would be to use your strongest 3 characters (and not all of one class) as your mains, for arena and everything else, at least until you build up your team characters to be comparably strong. Besides, the top of the arena has become ridiculously competitive (in terms of spending crystals for extra entries and thus arena points), with a good team, playing and winning all 10 matches every day, and careful match selection you can still place well enough to get decent crystal rewards. I've also seen some people do a "baiting" approach, where they'll deliberately win their last normal match of the day with a comparatively weak team, and then blitz the resulting revenges with their main team.
Agreed. The event is great to bolster the number of 3* heroes to check out closely and to burn a lot of crystals on energy recharges. All the hard earned and saved crystals have been depleted for recharges and the Asgard trio. Yes, the 160 bios is going to be interesting. Current plan, which may slightly change is following. Lot 1: Black Widow (she's kept in largely due to inertia, she's not as great in mid-late and late game) Captain Marvel They're both 4* at the moment and have made decent progress towards 160 biometrics needed. Second lot is: Venom (absolutely love him. He's tanky enough and his specials are a must for crowd control, together with his leadership ability. He's also my main hero to drive through Normal stage 7 single-handedly and help level up other laggards) Spiderman (tag teaming bosses with Venom where necessary) Ultron (comes into his own after 3*) Vision (was great in early to mid game, lost it a bit post mid game but once he's 3* he's great if you use him well) Bringing up the rear, because they're late stage biometrics: Red Skull Black Panther As of now I'm still missing 4 heroes: Malekith, Hulk (don't like him for some reason, so my VS tokens go to Venom), Black Cat and I'm 10/20 on Kingpin.
Define late game. I'm running level 40 JI team (4* CM, 3* V, 3* Sm) in arena and have no difficulty winning against teams in the top 3 of the recommended list. You have to know who to pit against whom, when to tag in and out and whose leadership will help you the most. If you're up against heavy bruisers that have physical damage immunity bonus (hello, Luke Cage!) then put Cap Marvel as the leader to bolster her energy attack. Venom's leadership is largely useless in Arena because you don't have crowds of henchmen taking pot shots at you. Agreed, which is exactly what makes them versatile and deadly in the Arena. You have to play to your strength and choose your enemies, though. Some will plainly be overpowered for you to take on right now. Skip those and find others to beat. Black Widow is not strong in the Arena. Luke Cage is strong if he lands hits, but that's not that hard to control. He's susceptible to energy attacks and he can be slow to move, just slow enough that Spiderman can do a number of swing-and-hit attacks. Team bonus and leadership bonus are definitely in the Arena, even if they're not displayed. Netmarble verified it: More important than leadership and team bonuses are the bonuses you get from having as many heroes unlocked as possible.
A few factors needed for a strong arena team considering a lot of players now have high level(35-40) 3-star characters (especially because of the new IAP packages): 1. Heavy CC. These range from stun skills (Daredevil, Spiderman, etc) to high interrupt probability skills (Ultron's leap, War Machine's machine gun arms, Iron Fist's fist blast thingy). Easy damage trading tools. 2. Damage skills with innate evasion. Good examples are Spiderman's Web Swing which hits twice while he's invulnerable, and the hopback skills like Widow's, Iron Man's, Vision and Captain Marvel's mobile skills. When timed right, this will make your opponent's attacks whiff while you land yours. 3. Knowing which skills can be interrupted effectively cancelling out the damage. Example hitting Hulkbuster after his first leap attack lands with an interrupt will use up his skill cooldown, while he is unable to perform the second part of his skill. 4. Knowing which skills will be effectively cancelled out by hopbacks to mitigate or prevent damage. When Luke Cage starts his flurry skill (where he punches 4 million times in front of him in a short range) you can prevent most of that damage if you perform a hopback skill right away. All these factors are forms of winning "trades" which is what Arena is all about in the highest levels. Take note some characters have more of these traits in their kit more than others, which make them perform generally better in Arena. Spiderman for one has invulnerability while performing web swings, has a stun (almost guaranteed in close range), and even his leap back and webpull himself back in has a small window of avoiding damage. War Machine has a hopback with high interrupt chance, and a dash-in with high interrupt chance. My $0.02.
Any high level Red Skull users here? I'm pretty close to finally getting him and IDK if I wanna dump a ton of XP Iso Chips on him. Also, I'm kinda baffled why Punisher isn't categorized as a Blaster. He has no melee attacks whatsoever.
Red Skull is useful for Villain Siege as anti-Octopus. He's not worth investing a whole lot into but worth leveling a little.
Maybe coz he's using shells? But then that would make War Machine combat type as well. LOL Malekith's blast type, but i think he should be universal instead.
They need to add a feature into Arena where we compete for top prize that is actually worth a damn. A few hundred crystals doesn't mean much and it would be nice for them to award biometrics or characters to top placers.
Then I might actually try for it. Otherwise, yeah, crystals aren't a good enough prize. But I'd love bios or heroes. Maybe if we could select the bios we want, it would really be worth it!
I'm gonna miss the 4 energy in Elite runs when the new day's refresh hits at 11EST today... Back to prioritizing
It's definitely bittersweet for me. On the one had, it's been great to be able to play as much as I want any time of day and feel like I'm making progress. I mean, I finished every elite level with bios two days in a row! On the other hand, my three day weekend is over, and I really should do stuff at work. So, yeah.
Hey guys, Is there an "add me" thread for this game? If not should I make one? I feel like I'm late to this, but I really need those add friends gems so that I can get some of the biometric packs before they expire. So I'd appreciate it if you could add "brrobotix" in Game Center so that I can work towards getting those. In return I have a pretty decent capt america, and I'm working on an extra-beefy ironman hulk buster.
