Damn, how do I take the Punisher out in Chapter 2, Stage 8. I've failed that mission 4 times, with level 21 Cap, BW, and Ironman, 12 level skills, 6 level gear. I took out the prior stage with WS easily, with lower skills and gear, which I increased just to this stage. I'm close each time but still come up short. This is killing me!
So, AFTER the movie release the new costume package and individual costumes went way down in price. Interesting. Glad I didn't buy more than one so far. Hope I don't buy a few only to see the price pummit again. Another strike against F2P.
There was a notice in the mail, saying anyone who had purchased costumes would be refunded the difference. It should be coming in your mail they say, I haven't gotten anything back yet though.
Are skills worth upgrading? I've upgraded the skills of my main team to 15, but the pricing for getting past that point is pretty ridiculous. I feel like gold is better spent on gear upgrades and ranking/mastering characters
If you want to be competitive in PVP, absolutely. If you need more gold, I grind the bonus missions daily.
Am I the only one that friends/allies aren't working anymore? I choose a friend and yet I'm going solo in each battle... Anyone else?
Okay. That explains why I got 500 crystals today. Thought it was a pretty generous gift. Makes much more sense. Shame they aimed so high out of the gate. I would have bought all the costumes for $10 or so. Anyway, thankful they refunded us. That's cool.
Some more impressions: Do not judge a character until at least 3-stars, the 3rd skill really changes the meta a lot. 1) Looks like team super (really reminds me of Marvel vs Capcom games where everyone launch their super, really hot!) is a must, does massive damage and when combined with helper, really puts a dent into bosses. I guess we need to build for team synergy after all. 2) War Machine is a side kick in moves but he is way better than Tony Stark in this game. Probably the strongest energy character. 3) Blade used to be good in soft launch with his massive life leech, but with the nerf he is not good anymore. Should I pick Luke Cage as my combat character? 4) Black Widow is the best of the starting 3 characters for sure. Perfect specials for kiting bosses, moves fast, quite tanky with dodge once you get her to 3-star. Probably strongest speed character and unstoppable in arena once you get her dodge skill.
I think the honeymoon period is over for me. I have no desire to actually play this game anymore. All I keep doing is auto playing levels to unlock characters. Although I don't really care... I will give it a little longer, but I am glad I didn't spend anything! (Ps I have only been playing since launch )
I was weak guys, I just blew 1,250 crystals on here dimension chests.... Also, is iron man worth keeping on my team with war machine and hulk buster for the stats bonus and the special attack, or should I replace him with black widow, because iron man kinda blows
I've been using him for hit and run against a lot of bosses. He doesn't deal a ton of damage, but he's great at avoiding it if you're smart. I'd keep him, especially since you can get his biometrics fairly easy Side note, are hero chests for 550 gems a good idea? Edit: couldn't wait, took the plunge. I got a 1 star dare devil. I'll take it.
There is a bug that if you are both game friends and GC/FB friends that the ally heroes glitch and won't appear when selected. This happened with you for me, which is why I know about it. I deleted you from the game friend list, you remained in the GC/FB list, and now it works.
Iron man is good dealing with boss 1vs1 hit and run. Black widow has better survival in any mission. Not sure about "hero chest limited edition 550" I try the rest chest and got crap biometric and dup.
Most chests give you a chance of getting either biometrics (only 1-3, most frequent drop) or a full hero (very rare). The limited edition chest gives you 100% chance of getting a hero, and 10x lv 4 EXP chips. I was saving for a 1,500 gem hero package, but since I can effectively get 3 heroes for that price I went for it.
Here's the basic rule for hero and bio chests. If you have a lot of heroes, maybe don't bother because you won't get anyone new. You'll more than likely just get 7-8 bios for someone you already have. That's still good, but probably not worth it. They're best purchased by newbies. That said, I bought the $5-one time cheat and got 30 Black Panther bios, so now I have a Rank 3 Black Panther. And that's awesome.
Yeah, good advice. I have 8 characters unlocked right now, so I still have a lot to gain from a hero chest. I'm definitely going to save diamonds for a universal hero pack down the road, since it seems like the best way to get a really strong character.
