Is there any specific thing crystals should be used on that's vastly better than anything else (like in some other games)?
I'm very early in, but current team is winter soldier, ghost rider and cap'n murica.. Ghost rider is a beast IMO, his aoe from penance stare mows doen groups of mobs
You can either buy 10 energy points (for 500 AA points) or a random item (for 300 AA points) .. you should be able to find this in the shop In this game, energy recharges, for grinding, and later, possibly recharging timeline battle entries. The packages that give bio and/or heros are a bit too random to be useful IMO - better to get energy and focus grinding on what/who you want to get or upgrade.
I agree maybe in the long-run that's the best strategy, but for the purpose of getting bios 1st time or the potential to finish out a collection, the dimensional boxes can still produce some random awesomeness. Plus early on, getting up past chapter 6 on regular and Chpt 3 Elite is difficult, so options on which characters you can grind bios for is limited. I see long-run Cap will be good, but he's a temporary 2* filler because his bios are a chapter up on the high end, which will be elite. Regular mission alone will be hard....something like that could be....half a year?....prob not far off. But then again, the dimensional boxes are a fancy term for lottery system.....this game just does a better job with rewarding players
1) What level do you have him at? 2) Where do you figure out what the set bonuses are? I hadn't realized playing certain teams granted more bonuses.....this game is more and more like Ultimate Alliance the further down the rabbit hole we go Lol
Luke Cage? Capped at 30 for the moment, gradually getting bios to rank him up. On the team screen, on the right hand side there's a really small button called "team bonus", press it and it will list all the combos which give bonuses, with ones with heros you have listed first. Note that there are some that require two heros, and some that require three, and they stack, so some combos are particularly good(eg Iron Man / War Machine / Hulkbuster). Some(all?) of the combos also give you a slow to recharge but potent team attack.
The Iron Man / War Machine / Hulkbuster is what I'm running right now. It's so good. I also swap in Cap / Spiderman / Iron Man team.
Some heroes start as a 1 star, others a 2 star, etc. what difference does that make? Do they start out with higher stats? Increased level? More skills?
Higher base stats which is somewhat comparable with the other characters' same-star version. Example Captain Marvel's base stats as 3-star is comparable with Ultron's 3-star version when he gets upgraded. Take note that i said comparable, the values wont be the same for each character, but they are balanced. The factors that tip the scales are the random bonus stats when upgrading the items, the iso-8 builds, and the skillset of the characters.
Hi guys, I'm new here. I was looking for MFF forum then I found this forum. Here's my current team. My star is Vision. Both his starting skills can wipe out many enemies at once. .
Oh ok. I did notice that but for me it's a bonus for having an all 2* team. That's awesome specific teams will get additional bonuses.
Check the synergies. Any teams you create off of those add a team attack. Go to Team in the lower left of the main menu, then tap Team Bonus on the middle right side of the screen, then tap the ALL tab to see all the team combos and their bonuses. From everything i have available and tried out, they add a team attack to members involved in the team combo,
Sup guys, seen a few people here from previous marvel games Just recently started playing and have only unlocked a few heroes. This game is similar to heroes charge and dot arena, so it's definitely up my alley. I'll be watching this thread for some more tips and strats
Okay seriously, what the hell is the deal with unlocking a Dimension Rift?!?! How is it since this game came out, EVERY SINGLE TIME I "find" a dimension rift it's for frickin Ghost Rider?! I'm level 30 and have been playing since the soft launch, why aren't I unlocking other rifts for Thor and Loki for instance? I'm getting tired of see ghost rider he sucks.
Random chance is random! I've seen Thor, Loki, Black Panther (unlocked him after 90 energy yesterday) and Spider-Man recently. No Ghost Rider.
