The way it's worded in the game, I thought we got a hero, and bios, and ISO-8 in each chest we buy. Man, glad I didn't waste my crystals on those! I'll keep collecting the movie costumes I guess, and farm bios.

If you buy the x10 dimensional chest, you would pull probably one of each at the very least, but otherwise 1 box is a random drop.

It doesn't stack, you can try purchasing it again and it won't allow you too.

I've been using my crystals towards hero dimension chests. Just the standard cheaper one. I've been hoping to get enough bios for my black cat. This morning I got a 2 star Ultron from one. I was happy about that.

Is Ultron good? I'm thinking I'll rank him up and switch out Iron Man. Iron man just seems so weak compared to Cap and Black Widow. His hp drops fast and he takes enemies down so slow.

I like Iron Man, he works good against Doc Oc in Villain Siege and is easy to farm bios for in early game.

Just pulled 5 bios from the speed/universal chest, so I guess you do get 5 instead of 3 from the regular dimensional chest.

I've heard Ultron is pretty solid. Let us know how he is (I've got about a week of grinding his elite mission to get him). I'll say, I got Mockingbird 2* from a chest and her 1st special is brutal. In MP I quick swap her just for her two specials because it takes heroes down FAST. I highly recommend her.

OK, I'll keep trying. But honestly this game is a serious grind. I appreciate the fact that they have a "Clear" ticket and autoplay option but isn't that a little like putting lipstick on a pig? They are so aware that the game is a grind that they put features in to help you with that grind.

I don't see this one have a lasting appeal to me. I also can't figure out how the friends are supposed to work. It doesn't appear you can play co-op with your friends and when I choose to teamup with someone they blip into my fight (presumably as an AI controlled player) for a brief moment and then they are gone.

I was hoping for a little less grinding and more co-op like Kingsroad.

    For Combat Heroes:
-Captain America - you start out with him at 2 Star essentially. Balanced overall with a good mix of strength and defense
-Hulkbuster - another freebie 2 Star. Love his area damage. Perfect for fighting mobs as his basic attacks all hit multiple enemies.

    For Speed Heroes:
-Spiderman - takes some effort to get but unlocks at 2 star. His stun is OP in PvP. And dead useful in the regular game too. I don’t like how the AI uses him in auto-attack though.
-Black Widow - relatively easy to level up. Pretty good/balanced overall.
-Hawkeye - his multi shot attack is great for mobs. Too bad he’s harder to level. Mine will be stuck at 1 star for a while.

    For Blast Heroes:
-Iron Man - you have to use him as a hit and run but he has great crowd control.
-War Machine - more of a brawler but I like his damage output.

    For Universal Heroes:
-None - I only have Ghost Rider and Ultron unlocked and I’m not really a huge fan of either.

Nice summary Zero. To add a few characters to that:
Speed - Mockingbird is highly recommended. 1st attack is brutal. Sharon Carter, I have but haven't played with. Played against in MP and I was impressed. Has lots of quick attacks and doesn't seem to ever break her relentless assault.

Blast - Vision is ok so far. His 1st special does decent damage and had a little bit of a spread so it's good on groups. Verdict still out though.

I agree with the other assessments already mentioned. I've yet to play with Sharon, Falcon, Luke Cage, and Winter Soldier, all (and more) who I've acquired over the last 2 days.

EDIT: Side note, I've noticed that the class bonus given in multiplayer calculates based on your entire roster, not just active and the assist heroes. So more the reason to collect as many heroes as quickly as possible.

Hmm - I'll add on with other characters I've tried.

    Combat:
Luke Cage - Pure brawler, not as tanky as Cap I felt. Could be good but I wanted more variety
Punisher - slow, plodding. Hits like a tank. Seriously. Has a big ass gun. Could be fun but I already have Cap and Hulkbuster set.

Overall - pretty decent options for this class. For me: Cap = Hulkbuster > Punisher > Luke Cage

    Blast:
Vision - fast, first attack is decent, second not really. Ultron is a slightly slower, better version
Red Skull - did not like at all. He has a basic pistol, and the uh energy rifle things.

Overall - I’m sticking with Iron Man and War Machine.

    Speed:
Winter Soldier - pretty fun. Like a speed version of War Machine. His gun special hits decently. I might use him in the future once I get bored/hit a wall with my other speed guys.
Sharon Carter - agreed great at relentless attacking. Might use at some point.
Mocking Bird - I wanted to like her but just couldn’t. Might be a style thing.
Falcon - felt kinda flimsy and not very powerful.

Overall - I think this is the best class in the game. At least, it has the best Heroes early on.

Ultron's pretty good, mostly because of his AOE. His beam skill has so much trample range that it kills enemies that havent even noticed you yet. His leap slam has a huge AOE, but could miss if you are too close and he jumps over the enemy, or if you have an ally present that pushed the enemy off you leap path.

Best thing about ultron thouh, is how accessible his bio is. You can farm that easily daily and it's not going to make any player sweat at all.

Ultron being universal type means he doesnt have an obvious disadvantage against anything.

How come every dimension rift I've been able to find hasn't been matched to my level? I get whooped on everytime I try them. I haven't been able to beat one yet.

The rift levels are fixed. They dont scale to your level. Thing is, even if you are low-levelled, even if you cant complete them yet, friends that complete them will provide you with gold.

Try the level one or level 2 in the dimension rift only. I am fairly advanced and I only do level 3 if I am trying to get the Bio for that rift and it is sometimes hard, even with all 3-4 star troops.

Don't underestimate Luke Cage. He is my fave combat hero by far. In PVP, I can kill a 4 star Captain America with half my health left and he destroys Black Widow. It's due to his ability which makes him invulnerable to physical damage for 6 seconds.

Highly recommend you guys try him.

You combine them to level up stars. I would recommend not equipping any 1 stars on your heroes because when you level them up to the next star level, you don't know what you will get and it might be worthless for your troop (ie energy attack on a pure physical troop).

You can level up any ISO-8 with any other ISO-8

I'll second that, I lead my PVP with Luke Cage, and he usually takes down at least the first two opposing heros himself. My favourite for level clearing, too.

I'm still trying to work out what my dream team looks like, as most of my favourite heros so far (Luke Cage, War Machine, Black Widow, Captain Marvel, Spiderman) don't match up with any set bonuses by combining them. I've almost got Venom, so I'm thinking Journalistic Integrity(Black Widow/Spiderman/Venom) might be one of the better options.
