I'm wanting to like this game as a big Marvel and Avengers fan. But I'm having a hard time getting into the grind. All missions look and feel the same and the rewards are small. Getting new characters seems to be a real chore as you need to grind away on the same elite levels over and over. If the missions were varied and somewhat interesting I might be tempted to buy a pack but I can't see myself playing this over and over for very long. And for the life of me I can't figure out what to do with the upgrade parts you get in the missions. The only thing I can upgrade gear with is the little gear box thing. What do I do with all the materials your get?
thanks for your answer, do you or does anyone know what happens if I already own like 1 bio for a guy and pull him out of the package? so lets say I already have 3 bios for ghost rider but don't have him unlocked yet. When I buy the pack and if I pull ghost rider, would I get 7 ghost rider bios or would I get the complete character instantly? does anyone know anything about that?
Upgrades further down the line use materials (after lv 5 if i remember correctly) And Venom is a brawler beast once you 3-star him.

Hahahaha, Hulkbuster's AOE is totally unfair. I love it. And he's got a great teamup with War Machine and Iron Man that's just the three of them doing massive Unibeams. Fantastic.
Actually my current team's Ultron Prime, Iron Man and Hulkbuster... I also love the pseudo dual-cast of his skills.
Thanks for the explanation! There's so much in this game that it's taking me a while to learn. Thankfully, I've never run out of energy, which is a nice surprise. I think I still have over 100/60 or something like that.

Character Upgrades Hi - I just started this game last week and only have 4 characters. I am only using Black Widow, Captain America and Iron Man. Not using Hawkeye. I have been upgrade the skills and gears for the 3 characters. Is it better to continue upgrading all 3, or should I be just upgrading 1? I am also getting close to getting Hulkbuster, War Machine and some others. Should I start using these when I get them? Thanks.
Upgrade the ones you are comfortable with and use them to unlock more story and Elite levels. But make a second and third team once you unlock that and use a beefed up hero and two low level characters. You will need some characters around lv 23-30 to farm Villain Siege later. War Machine works good on lower level Villain Siege.
Hulkbuster's AoE is crazy, I love it. Kinda wish there was a team up for Hulk, HB, and the Destroyer. It could be called "Get Wrecked".
Hi, does anybody know how I set the team that represents my timeline battle crew when being used by the computer? Or does it just go off of who your strongest three characters are? Or does it go off of who your "Team 1" is? Also, the character that my friends use as help when they ask for my assistance -- can I choose who that character is? Or once again, is it picked my who is my strongest? Thanks.
Is anyone else using Spider-Man in the Arena? I haven't lost a match once on attack or defense since I put him in last season. I'm sitting at 0.22% right now without even trying. No recharging or anything, and no revenges because I haven't been beaten. He's level 35 and paired with Widow and Sparklefists. I've taken him into fights against lvl 40 teams and won without much effort. For comparison, before this I was in the 7-10% range with the same amount of effort put in and a team of Blade, Widow and Sparklefists, all roughly this same level. Only big difference has been Spider-Man. Do I just have some amazing stats thanks to ISO and gear, or is he really that good in the Arena?
What does everyone recommend spending crystals on what packages or deals are the best to get? Or a uniform?
Personally, i went with Uniforms for the simple reason that almost everything else can be farmed. Uniforms cannot and only needs to be bought with crystals.
I think his stun is pretty OP, so that might be one of the reasons. I fought a Spidey in the arena 4 levels below my Ultron and he took Ultron down to a sliver of health that i had to switch to a second character to take him down. His trade potential is stupid. To be honest, im avoiding high level spiderman in the arena. LOL
