It takes a while at first to level up your Shield Experience, but around level 10 or 15 (i don't remember exactly) you unlock Arena and Villian Siege. You get Honor tokens from participating 5 times a day in Arena.
Just have a look at the achievements and focus your playstyle on beating achievements and you get plenty of energy.

It says I need to clear normal mode 4-10 then the timeline battle will unlock. Anyway, how many honor tokens will I get after participating 5 times a day in Arena?

Ups, sorry. Misremembered that, been a long time. ;)
You get 500 tokens, enough for one daily pull.

Just to clarify, Once you participate in the 5 timeline arena battles, you get the daily achievement, which the reward for is 500 honor tokens. You then go to the store, select honor tokens, then can purchase bio's for Captain Marvel, Bullseye and Elektra (3 bio's per 500 tokens for all 3 characters).

Most people focused on buying the Captain Marvel bio's as this is the ONLY way to get them, and take the most (40 - essentially 14 days worth o fplaying 5 battles a day) compared to Bullseye (10 bio's) and Elektra (20 bio's) to unlock, and both of which can be found from later Elite missions.

You can't unequip ISOS once placed and neither can you combine 2 ISOS that are both placed, so place your ISOS carefully.

Honestly some of it was luck but most of it was doing the Dimension rifts.
Not so much for the Bio's of the respective character in the rift, but more so for the clear tickets.
Once you have those and have done some elite missions where you can get bio's, clear tickets make getting those easier so long as you have 3 stars on the mission.

Partly quoting this just so it shows up again, cause it may be useful for newcomers to the thread.

But also, if you don't mind Bardawulf, could you please describe a run down of how to fight Bullseye? I notice that after his rain of cards attack (that puts a circle on the ground), even if I steer completely clear of it, a few seconds later, I then get hit by an attack that I don't even see, and if it doesn't just instantly kill me, it puts my hero in critical condition.

The best strategy I've come up with is to actually stay as close to him as possible, because his ranged attacks become very hard to dodge if you allow too much distance. But with those damn kamikaze-bots, it's hard to really focus on Bullseye.

Aside from "git good", I'd like some good tips on fighting him.

I never actually paid that much attention to Bullseye as apart from his rain of cards move I never had that much of a problem.
But since you mention it there is that crazy attack he does where its like his regular attack hones in on you.

Ive just done my villain siege runs for the day and here is how I tackled him:

    Bullseye level 30:

    Heros: Hawkeye (25), M.O.D.O.K (25), Red Skull (30)
Hawkeye and M.O.D.O.K are only maxed out in skill, their equipment is at 5. Red Skull on the other hand has max equipment and skills. I am not a fan of M.O.D.O.K but his stun move (when it works) can be useful. I also picked Hawkeye first due to his leadership critical bonus.

Fight: I used Hawkeyes specials (rapid fire & spread shot) then switched to M.O.D.O.K used his (stun then charge). Switched to Red Skull used his specials (rapid fire then punch) and chipped at him with Red skull while running around avoiding his attacks and suicide spiders.
    Then repeated the whole process.
Red Skull was my main damage dealer to him.
Completed in one run with no loss of characters

    Bullseye Level 40:

Heros: Blade (30), Green Goblin (30), Destroyer (35)
Blade was first for his leadership life steal perk, All characters are maxed out in equipment and skill (level related)

Fight 1: I used Blades specials (stab & sword flurry), switch to Green Goblin used his specials (pumpkin bomb & bag of tricks) (side note: bag of tricks special, flies above Bullseyes spread shot special).
Switched to Destroyer and used his stun, beam and charge special in that order.
I rinse and repeated this and ended up dying thanks to that freaky move after rain of cards and the slow debuff he has. I got him down to 34%

Heros: Black Widow (30), Ghost Rider (35)
I only used two because I was confident i could take him out the rest of the way

Fight 2: I used Black Widows specials (electrical & rapid fire) then switch to ghost rider and used his specials (fire breath, circle of fire, motorbike call) ghost rider might have slow attacks but his special pack a punch, I switched back to Black Widow to help with Ghost Riders cool down.
(side note: Bullseye must really dislike Black Widow he used rain of cards 3 times against her, ive never seen him do that to anyone else) needless to say I defeated him with Ghost Rider left standing.

I hope this helps, While I am waiting for special cool down I am attacking briefly then avoiding.
so I guess you could call my style a hit and run approach.

I apologize for the length of this post but I detailed it out as I completed each fight so it was fresh in the memory

Thank you. No problem about length, the more detailed the better.

I'll definitely attempt these tactics.... as soon as my roster looks a bit more like yours haha. Right now I'm not too concerned about reaching the level 40 villains, but I'd love to at least have enough decently geared and leveled heroes to complete the fourth VS (I figure 200 Chaos Tokens a day rounds out better than 150. I'd have 39 days left before I can unlock Hulk at my current rate, and would absolutely love to cut that countdown in half ). For now I'll substitute Ultron for the Destroyer, because Ultron's chest beam does decent damage.

I suppose it makes sense for him to attack your Black Widow with extreme prejudice, since for me at least, she's pulled some serious s***. Like solo'ing a level 35 Destroyer with relative ease.

    No Worries.

I hear ya on Black Widow, she was my go to character for a long time before I got destroyer.

Speaking of which have any of you noticed that Destroyer has no allies that will come in and help through the stage.
And he doesn't come in and help anyone.

That could explain why his base damage and specials seem to be more powerful then everyone else
I could be imagining it though.

Lately though Red Skull and Green Goblin have caught my eye on possible excellent characters, I am in the process of testing this out. But at this stage Red Skull is fast becoming my best blaster class.
I will update when I know more.

I wish to notice that... But actually they made him quite impossible to get, rifts drop rate is embarrassing.

I got RedSkull with bios from daily/assemble chests and villain siege, but I'm stuck with him at 1*, I'm halfway elite chapter 6 but with only 3* I'm hitting my wall there.

Anway, did you noticed that all the drops were severely nerfed? Villain siege, besides the halved gold, now drops 1 bio at best, before I was getting 3 or more quite frequently (I got 10 Angela's one time, don't know if have to be happy or sad).
Also, daily chest and assemble are giving total crap.

Yeah, don't really understand the poor drop rates. It would make sense if there were a way to just straight up purchase heroes, or at least buy hero chests if you want to drop money on a chance for the hero you want.

But being that's not part of their monetary model, I have to wonder why the piss poor drop rates lately. I understand ensuring longevity and encouraging the indefinite purchase of energy recharges, but on the flip side, making it painful to see any meaningful progress isn't a great way to keep people playing. They need to strike a better balance with the next update and/or launch.

They also aren't getting any money from me until launch, because I've heard things about people losing progress and not being able to get it back. I don't want to risk that until it's out in my country at least. Losing all the time I've put into it would be tragic enough, so I don't want to invest invest while it's in soft launch. Need more security than that.

I too have noticed that the drop rates in the rifts have been nerfed, even in the villain siege.

The best ISO lot I've gotten was 4 x green goblins from an elite run and 7 x war machine from the free chest 2 days ago

I've got 3 Elite levels opened up to farm Black Widow, so yeah, at this point, I can't imagine her not being in my main team at all times. She'll likely always be the most powerful hero I have.
Anyone spent much time with Elektra? I just unlocked her, and her specials seem amazing so far.

Also, I have a theory I can't wait to test. You know how on the daily check in, the final prize for day 28 is a hero chest? I'm assuming that'll be a free hero... right? So in theory, if you have all of the heroes you can unlock via elite missions already, you'll be getting a free unlock of one of the super-rare, Rift / Hulk characters. I only need 2 more bios to unlock Kingpin, at which point it'll only be Hulk and the Rift characters. Think the game will be awesome and drop one of those on us?

It's a nice theory, I'm just 3 bios from my last "regular" hero so, yeah, all my wishful thinking is with it.

Ugh, so close. Got VS #4 Bullseye to 24% with my last hero.

I need more level 30's honestly. So I can just breeze through the first 3 VS and still have enough left over to win the war of attrition that is Bullseye.

We've confirmed there's no correlation between difficulty level and bio drops on Rifts, right?

    Just experimented.
    Tier 1: 7 times, 5 bios
    Tier 2: 1 time, 0 bio
    Tier 3: 1 time, 1 bio
    Tier 4: 2 times, 1 bio
    Tier 5: Didn't try

I don't think the difficulty level has anything to do with the drop rate. So probably, just doing them as many times as possible might be best. You can blaze through the easy level and run it many, many times since it is fast and costs least.

haha, being that I only have 16 out of 36 (?) characters, I hope the Hero chest is fair enough to only draw from a pool of Rift exclusives (and Hulk) in the first place, regardless of what your roster looks like.

No need to have the "ultimate" reward draw from a pool of characters that can be easily grinded for in Elite missions or by participating (not even winning) in 5 Timeline Battles a day. Because then it's not so "ultimate". (This is one of the cases where I really hope Netmarble is watching this forum).
