Incorrect on the first part. Once it is equipped you can still enhance and combine. But, you're combining or enhancing INTO the one that is equipped. You can't take the one off the hero and combine it into the one in the inventory. Once the ISO is set, it can't be unset. It can be replaced with a new one, but the old is destroyed. So, then, yes, you can combine an ISO in your inventory with one on your hero. But the ISO stays on your hero. Be careful what you slot!
Oh yeah, it is awesome. Just do however many matches you need to get that 40-bio Captain Marvel and you have a 3-star hero who flies through space with an alien cat making Star Wars references and punching dinosaurs. Pretty much the best.
This might have a part to play in it. I've been running normal missions to level new characters and still haven't found one myself. Random is random I guess. Annoying though, I just want Spider-man!!
True... that's why I'm reluctant to slot ISO and trying to figure out how to manage it in a long term view, actually I'm just doing the 25 weekly and enhancing/combining the dupes in the inventory. I think it can be a powerful way to optimize and specialize your heroes for different tasks (level swiping, boss fighting, arenas...) and a good knowledge of characters is needed to figure it's weak and strong point. I'd like to make some stat recap of the various chars if I have time. One doubt is: should be better enhance the already good stats and max them out, or filling the holes improving the weak ones?
That's what makes these sort of games good you will very rarely come across another team character I.E Cap that has the exact same stats as your Cap even it is the same level and mastery, the strongest will eventually pan down to who has the best ISO equipped, so definatly equip enhance and combine wisely because it's not cheap either! And about which stats to fill, that is entirely up to you, you can fill weaknesses to make an all rounder or fill strengths to make an out and out beast in what their already good at, choice is yours! I made top 50 both (20th and 46th),crystals revenue is good but the live leaderboard and recharge make the top scores a crystals spending roulette, so I just stick with what I can get for free there.
Are you spending your crystals? I've got 1,600, and I'm not feeling the need to spend them on energy. I've thought about blowing it all on Dimension Chests, but I don't know if it'd be worth it...
When i was around Shield level 20 and up and had some time on my hands, i spend some gems on 30 % more Shield experience and energy recharges. That way my overall energy got higher, so i could play more the following days.

Naaah, never buy dimension chests!! They are completely random!! use ur crystals to refill urs energy, then stick around on elite or rift missions to get biometrics, norn stones, and exps
Cool. Thanks. I've been wondering if the bulk chests offered any kind of 100% chance of, but meh. The Villain Siege is the best part of this game. Anyone else agree? I love those big fights, and the rewards are amazing. I got Hulk and Destroyer bios from it today, plus a 5 Spider-Man bios in a single hit.
I like this game a lot, but they need to be a little more generous on the bio drops. I know they nerf'd it because everyone was grinding dimension rifts, but I just ran a lvl 35 destroyer rift and got 1 ticket and 1 gear. Why not make the drop percentages 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% for the 4 rifts? It is such a waste to drop 20 energy on nothing. Or make it 33%, 66%, 99%, then on the 4th one, you are guaranteed 1 bio with a 50% chance of getting 2 bios. That said, I was able to get about 4 Destroyer bios from the -16 energy spot.
Actually the rifts levels are 5, and I don't know the exact rates but they looks like you wish, they are higher at highest cost/difficulty. But yeah, I don't feel so convenient going for the 20-24 ones. I'd like they worked like that: 20,40,60,80,100 % drop rates 1 additional sure bio for first time you 3* a level reset of rift completion once you 3* all of them (so you can cycle again the additional ones).

I don't suppose anyone has unlocked Hulk yet? Really looking forward to getting him. He better be powerful enough to deserve such a serious grind. Thankfully Villain Siege gave me 3 biometrics for him just for defeating a boss, so hopefully that trends enough to smooth over the token grind.
