Yup. In the screenshots from the INCOMPLETE changelog, the world boss has 300k-ish hp, while on live, they have 3.2M HP.
Yeah... I was fortunate to have 14 rank 6 toons now, when all i've spent on are Stark Stash. The World Boss is definitely bugged, and NetMarble refuses to admit that and post something about it. Talk about ultra-poor customer service. How hard is it for a CM to post a "We are aware of this and that bug and doing something about it" blurb, anywhere on the mobirum site? Im sure questions are going to a slow in the least if they at least did that.
Are any of you in an active alliance? I just started playing recently and still haven't joined an alliance. Would be cool to play with some of you guys if possible.
There was a data update this morning, lowered world boss to 1.7M and seems to have slightly reduced damage. Still as much fun as slamming your schlong in a drawer. Think this is the update that will allow me to quit this game. Didn't re-up my Stark's Stash when it expired last week and have about a week on the bio sub. I'll log in to get the rest of that but this game is currently as stale as a year old bagel. They keep giving us more and more characters to collect but nothing interesting to do with them. Hasn't been a content update since early October, just pay-only characters and needless monkeying with the only game modes you actually bother to play.
Do it! Quit! I left two updates ago, and it's been great. I peek in every update to see what's up, but nothing has made me close to interested enough to redownload. I'm just waiting for LEGO Avengers at this point.
I recently got back to the game, but there seem to be no point in just levelling up. As was stated above, there isn't many interesting things to do with the characters.
Well if you have all stages cleared you can do villian stages and such. Keep ranking up characters to by getting the bios for them. I just ranked up only my 4th 6 star character but like EP said he has 16 of them or some crap lol so there is always stuff to do.
I'm thinking the same thing... I have been playing this game since release non-stop, I've invested quite a bit of money into it and have every character available except for the ones released yesterday, about 30 characters that are 6-star with over 26 of those level 60 (the rest above 55), most maxed out gear. With all that I can't seem to make a dent in this new mode, they keep tweaking the old modes for the worse and they have made the Vs. mode something that I just can't be bothered to even finish for the daily achievement! Time to walk away I guess... Seems every game like this does this and makes changes that offer more ways to monetize their economy and yet less ways to actually enjoy the game with meaningful content. I'm out...
All stages cleared, 3 starred and at max Tokens (60k) because they don't let you hold more than 225 over the limit and no bios to buy because (A) I've six starred all of the characters available because (B) they refuse to update the token shops on any regular basis. I have been literally logging in for maintenance and power leveling characters for quite a few months. I'm at a loss as to who they are making these new changes for as they don't seem to be towards garnering either type of player, veteran or newcomer, casual or dedicated... Sorry, just frustrated...
Well, for a newer player, the game has been made more friendly over time, and there is a solid amount of high quality gerbil wheel content to keep you busy for a good, long time. The core problem is that, although they clearly want to keep newer players coming in and "getting hooked", the bulk of their changes are aimed squarely at the uber competitive and/or obsessive completionist whales. It's becoming like every other money milking game out there, where they want as many people as possible to try their game and throw them their $5-$20 during the honeymoon phase, but if you're not going to turn into a whale, they seemingly want you off their servers as soon as possible. It's a shame. Early on it seemed as though they were aiming to create a subscriber class of player like myself, but it's increasingly clear they're no longer interested in my $13.57/month (my average expenditure since I started last May), and that's fine, I'll give my money to a developer who does value the moderate spenders.
And when they do, it's usually to retire a popular character for a less popular one pushing people who didn't finish them to buy one of their packages
I have been doing over and over and isn't much fun anymore. I keep levelling up, but don't see a point in that.
Because they have barely given me one single thing to do in the game but collect characters through some mode of payment for nearly six months while autorunning levels a couple of hundred times a day. What difference does it make that I have a stable of six star characters if there is literally *nothing* to do with them but farm other characters to six stars. And even that is only bearable if you're willing to leave your device on for 3 or more hours a day while you auto repeat levels because they make everything RNG so you don't just have to run a level 3 (now 5) times to get your daily limit of bios, you sometimes have to run it 20+ times. Having two dozen or more uber powerful characters is only an accomplishment if the game gives you something meaningful to do with them, but it doesn't. The PvP, before this update at any rate, was dependent primarily on how how many entry refreshes you were willing to buy. There hasn't been a non-6 star Battleworld for well over a month, and the prizes recently have been mostly ISO-8, something somebody who isn't worried about being at the top of the PvP ladder isn't worried about. Not sure what this update will do to PvP, but it's probably going to make the meta even worse than its been since without the ability to see who you're going to be against and/or switch opponents, you will have no choice but to run the most broken team you have access to (*cough*Lady Loki*cough*). I want to see more story content, I want to see an endless challenge dungeon where you can use your whole stable of characters in to see how far you get, I want to see modes that are challenging because you have to deliberately choose the right characters and use their skills strategically instead of the pounding your head against a cinder block the last Villain Siege levels are, I want a world boss that isn't just Villain Siege #13 To use a counter example, Fantasy War Tactics has 55 different characters, a large number of which have *unique* skills. Every month they have a challenge dungeon and levels 55-110 are the "hard mode". Not only do you have to figure out and execute some often crazy difficult strategies to get past a given level, they change up several of the hard mode levels every month. So the team that let you get past level 75 in February won't get you past that level come March. You have a content related reason to want to unlock and build up a large stable of characters, it's not just waving your schlong at the new players
