Use your two unlimited runs on the 2nd mission in the Ant Man series. Voila, Ultron farmed. P.S. He's worth it.
I am farming YJ and am 1/2 way to 5 stars. It takes ages. I haven't yet seen him PPP up as a shifter anywhere. Very occasionally you might get a second bio from breaking the boxes but that's pretty much it I think.
Oh. TBH, I haven't touched the Antman Special Missions yet as I have been farming as much as possible on GOTG Missions due to fear that they'll remove them. I just thought all Antman related Heroes were possible Shifters on any of the Antman Missions.
He's definitely the one to get. His 5* beam skill is good as far as beam skills go. High damage, but unlike his other skills this one has a bit of a warm up animation. Works great for skill chaining against Bullseye in VS. Bonus: when you farm YJ you also get bios for Ant-Man and Wasp. They're both solid heroes, Wasp probably more so than Ant-Man if she's not on auto. At level 40, 4* and full mastery her skills are great against Doc Oc and Bullseye in VS and she can hold her own in the Arena, too. I haven't played Ant-Man enough to get a feel for him, leaving that until I have him at 5*.
Well, to play devil's advocate, that's kind of what's been happening on the comics front: the Fantastic Four no longer have a series, its characters are going to be divided among other titles (for instance, The Thing will be joining the Guardians of the Galaxy) and while the X-Men still exist - because unlike FF, their comics are some of the most profitable Marvel has - the Inhumans have slowly been overtaking the mutants' role in the Marvel Universe. Plus, it was rumored that, after Secret Wars, every mutant was going to be exiled to a different planet, which didn't come to pass only due to the X-Men editor being replaced. Toy companies and such have also been told not to produce further X-Men and FF products. This is a recent position, rumors about it started earlier this year. Hence why recent games - Marvel Heroes, Contest of Champions - still have X-Men/FF characters. Having said that, I don't think it's entirely unlikely the X-Men and Fantastic Four will be added at some point in time. This whole thing is apparently due to Disney's CEO (or something) throwing a fit over not having control of the FF and X-Men IPs, but eventually that'll likely blow over (money is being left in the table here, and what suit worth his/her salt can abide that?).
It's only really useful to expend Stamina just before you level up your SHIELD level to maximize the efficiency of the free refill on Lv Up. Or to farm the last few missions in Chapter 8 which required you to use some crystals to 3-star. Or, if you dont have time to play but have max or almost max stamina.
Additionally, they come in handy with the upper edge elite missions to get bios. I use them for the elite missions I either can manual my way through or will need to use a team of max level heroes to autoplay through.
Does Starlord show up as a shifter in the special Galaxy missions at all? If so is there one which he shows up more frequently?
Yeah man, you're gonna have to grab Starlord from Token Shop. Read a few people saying he's a pretty solid Hero. If you can clear a decent amount of VS Stages, you're guaranteed Bios. Outside Special Missions, Chaos Token Hero Bios are pretty easy to obtain IMO.
Respectfully disagree. Reed Richards is currently one of the most integral parts of the current Secret Wars storyline, as is Doctor Doom and Thanos. Thing is with the Guardians, yes, but most of the Marvel characters are misplaced and shook up in this new Battle World. I just read a Deadpool issue where he is lost in the Wild West and teams up with Devil Dinosaur and an issue of Battleworkd where every possible iteration of Wolverine fight each other to the death! It isn't a slight to the characters so much as it is Marvel shaking things up as they are doing with all of their characters. Fantastic Four was dropped because it has sold like crap for the past 15 years. It hadn't even been in the top 100 selling comics (selling worse numbers than some less popular indie comics in most months) for near a decade when it was canned and the only reason why they kept it running for so long was pedigree. The X-men titles had become a mess story-wise (hence why the new Secret Wars titles have taken them back to a period where they had some of their best storylines) and many of the massive storylines were to clean house of clutter and unused characters, not to undermine Fox in any way (if that were the case we wouldn't have seen Spider-Man merchandise for years by comparison of Sony's ownership of the film rights prior to the new Marvel deal). No offense meant, but that theory that Marvel is sabatoging properties they don't own the film rights to is purely fanboy conjecture. They (Marvel) are merely cleaning house so that they can eventually set all these titles up for reboots along with resurrecting some lost characters to make things feel new again, period. They've been doing it for a while, since House of M and before. Marvel hasn't really had a "Crisis" shake up the way DC does every 5-10 years, and quite honestly, they needed to clean house! While the current Secret Wars/Battleworld scenario is interesting and fun, it is obvious that it is not meant for any longevity and only meant to serve as the catalyst, foundation and building blocks for the rebooted Marvel Universe that will come in the next couple of years, just as DC has done with every "Crisis", "New 52" and "Convergeance". Fantastic Four needs a revision, X-Men became far too much of a soap opera that they needed to right the course and even Spider-Man has had far too many uneven story arcs in the past decade (great ideas, bad execution like the Morlun storyline, Superior Spider-Man, Brand New Day and that anticlimactic Spiderverse arc). The short: Marvel is trying to fix problems with they're mainstay titles on the comic book front, not sabatoge companies that have the film rights, which have little crossover and codependency realistically. The average moviegoer that goes to see Fantastic Four doesn't give a crap that there isn't a currently running comic book title on the shelf. Us comic geeks make up a very tiny percentage of that toy buying, T-shirt wearing, movie going audience.
I'm of the opinion (so take it for what it's worth) that Richards and Doom are so important to Secret Wars mainly due to Jonathan Hickman's influence: as a writer, he's renowned for playing the long game, and he's been laying the groundwork for Secret Wars ever since his Fantastic Four run (plus, let's not forget that Reed and Doom were also integral to his New Avengers run, which started way back in 2013). I'm not referring to what's been happening during Secret Wars. Like you said, this event is Marvel's opportunity to shake things up a bit, and Thing being with the Guardians and Johnny Storm being a part of the Uncanny Inhumans title are part of their status quo post-Secret Wars. I agree with everything you said. FF hasn't sold well ever since Hickman left (and even then, it wasn't really moving that many copies), and I can say that the ANAD X-Men line up has me more excited for X-titles than I've been in years, quite frankly. If we were talking only about comics, I'd agree with you (I'm of the opinion that the ANAD relaunch, not reboot, will bring a needed breath of fresh air to the company), and I'm not one to buy into the web of conspiracy theories woven by Rich Johnson and his ilk. However, when collectible companies come out and say that Marvel is discontinuing FF/X-products already in production and strongly discouraging using those characters in the future, I have to question certain things. I'm not making this last point up, by the way: Diamond Select has explicitly said in some of their Q&As that they can't make more FF/X-Men products, and during SDCC time, I read an article on IGN saying that a statue of Galactus (I think, but I might be mistaken), already in production, was canned. Again, I agree with almost everything you said. I wish I could be more optimistic regarding Spider-Man, though: like you said, his last decade has been rather lackluster, and with ANAD Marvel had a perfect opportunity to change things up on the creative side of things and bring in some fresh blood. Instead, they decided to make some status quo changes and keep every writer, some of which (i.e. Slott) responsible for those lackluster arcs you named, where they were. Which is as missed an opportunity as I've ever seen. I don't think they're trying to sabotage Fox's properties either. I do, however, feel like they're trying to compromise, and keep those properties in the universe while simultaneously pushing properties which they have complete control over to the forefront: hence why The Thing still exists, but is part of the GOTG; and why the X-Men are still around, and coexisting with the Inhumans, but we'll probably see more new Inhumans than new mutants. Like you said, we geeks make up a tiny percentage of the market, but if the comics can generate new IPs, usable in the MCU (like Kamala Khan), that's the cherry on top of the cake for Marvel. Just my two cents. Good discussion, though! To bring this back on topic, it looks like the next update might bring us Doctor Strange, Enchantress and maybe Sandman. There's also a clip on YouTube showing how Multiplay is going to work. I'd post links, but I'm unable to for some reason.
I'm going to start saving up whatever Chaos and Honor tokens now if Strange is coming... He must be mine! Im a huge Dr. Strange fan... My license plate says so!
