I've invested more time and money into this game than hearthstone I think... I love it.

To the person asking how to play, I'm not an expert, but I play a wide range of my favorite characters.. I have them all unlocked but I switch it up to try to keep from getting repetitive...

Grinding out a 6 star is really tedious, and while a good idea if you want to be super competitive in pvp, I would suggest playing what you like and focus on team synergies as well as ISO bonuses. I have one five star team and that has cleared all stages for me... Now I just grind t out and do my daily missions.

Try to save gems for bios in shop when they pop up or the package deals like they have now...

I also saw someone say they hated ghost rider and blade, that is pure blasphemy!!! Ghost rider is a beast at large mob control, way better multi target damage dealer than most, but not great 1v1 on a boss

Don't expect any non-MCU characters or ones in movies owned by Fox. Your best hope is FF flick bombs and Disney/Marvel gets it back.

    X-men... Likely never.

You can, however, get all your characters in marvel puzzle quest.

Yup...After I 6* Nebula, I think imma take a huge break from grinding Special Missions. IDK why I even decided to do Nebula after I 6* Ronan.

To the best of my knowledge, that is the case. Not sure why some are so skeptical we can't get certain characters a priori.

There are X-Men in CoC and that is a Kabam NOT Fox published game. We have Spider-Man out the Yin-Yang in multiple games from many publishers even though Sony clings to the movie rights for that character like a hungry lemur. Other than the, in hindsight, faux paus of granting exclusive TV & movie licensing to Fox & Sony back in the late 90s before Marvel Studios decided they would get into the movie making business themselves, the game rights are all still held by Marvel. Ergo, all of Marvel's characters are fair game for inclusion in this game legally speaking.

    c.f. http://infinityinquirer.com/2014/08/23/yes-x-men-can-be-in-disney-infinity/

That said, so far this game has been used to leverage properties from the Marvel Cinematic Universe with every one of their promotions (although it did launch with a decent selection of Spider-Man Universe characters), so there may be some backroom reasons we won't see them help competing studios since the current Disney-Marvel would love nothing better than to get the TV & movie rights back. On the other hand, seems very doubtful that the inclusion of Wolverine and Johnny Storm in M:FF is going to in any way make or break the upcoming Fox films ;).

For myself, I'll be amazed if we don't have at least some X-Men in this game a year from now. Keeping people chasing things is going to require them trickling new characters out every month or two, and there are only so many Ant Man and GOTG original Marvel Movies that are going to come out to give them fresh material without them dipping into their most popular non-Avengers, non-Spider-Man property.

    6 star skill cap/wm.

I have to admit, I started playing this game during soft launch and didn't think it was that great. Took two months off, watched them beef up the contents and came back. If Netmarbles can keep this up, this will be the greatest ARPG ever created on mobile.

They certainly have the financial resources, top 10 grossing in South Korea, top 50 in the US. A few more patches like this they will be able to give Marvel: Contest of Champions some competition on the grossing charts. It is the vastly superior game and I really hope they will crush Kabam on the charts!

They may not be using the X-Men because it seems like they are heavily promoting the MCU pretty heavily in this game, even more than CoC. Marvel is not exactly going to any lengths to help Sony promote the properties they still have rights to.

A shame, I'd love to have Wolverine and Colossus in FF.

Although I mused the same thing, objectively, such reasoning is idiotic and non sequitur even if it comes to pass. By the logic of not "helping" *Fox* (Sony owns Spider-Man movie-only rights, Fox owns movie and tv rights to FF, X-Men, and their associated villains) by inclusion of X-Men in this game, they should also stop publishing the comics and novels while they're at it.

Fox controls *one* particular distribution medium for the X-Men, movie and TV. Disney-Marvel controls the entire remaining realm of possibilities in the literal universe. It would be a case of cutting off your nose to spite your face if so.

Yellowjacket is awesome. He's my favorite Blast-type hero at the moment (sorry, War Machine) as he easily demolishes Combat-type opponents. His leadership skill is also nice.

He definitely is. Right now it seems he's arguably one of the best characters in the game.

I only have a rank4 YJ right now, so i dont have facts about the rank5 skill.

Here are some facts on his first 3 active skills:

    1. Stinger - closes in melee range with a punch, then follows it up with a barrage of shots which can cause break on a certain number of hits. Re-targets if the current target dies. Break, re-targetting, Energy-type.

    2. Flying Barrage - This one's one of the most OP skills in the game (it does share similarities with some of the best skills in the game). YJ dashes in, changes into a bug/bee and deals damage multiple times in a decent AOE. What makes this OP is that in the full duration YJ is invulnerable. Invulnerability, AOE, physical-type.

    3. Now You See Me - Another skill that's pretty powerful as it provides a pseudo invulnerability. YJ attacks multiple times in melee, while being miniaturized in between the attacks. During the "mini" moments YJ is invulnerable. On top of this, each hit can re-target if the target dies before the skill ends. Invulnerability, AOE, re-targetting, physical-type.

    4. Bounce Back - Passive - At 30% hp or below, +3% crit rate, +10% All Atk, miniaturized.

    5. Fear of the Sting - Leadership skill - 10% chance to Paralyze (basically a stun, not sure if can be stopped by Resist Device: Stun special gear) for a short duration (3 seconds at rank 4) with a cooldown based on rank (15 seconds at rank 4). This gives other high/top-tier characters access to stuns. Imagine the likes of Vision, Black Widow, Ultron, and even the Hulk (who has a 5s and 6s cd on his skills, so the 3s stuns buy him time to stack more of his skills on you) having access to a 3s stun. Either the duration or the cooldown will still improve at rank5 and rank6.

From what i have seen from the AI enemies, his last skill is a Beam-type skill, assumingly similar to Iron-Man's Unibeam, Ronan's Universal Weapon, or Ultron's Chest Beam. It could be stronger in terms of damage considering it's YJ's 4th active skill.

Ugh...Now that description of yours makes me want to farm him. Well, at least I heard he's much faster to farm and he can pop-up as a Shifter.

The thing about Giant Man is that in his Special Mission you get him as the Bio Reward, and at the same time you get a chance at getting another one of his Bio since he is the ally shifter in his own mission.
