For those who have unlocked 5-star CM, how long is the big AoE's animation time? I mainly use her in hit and run combos as all three attacks serve that purpose. If that aoe makes her a sitting duck would my biggest concern for auto play.

I've been worried black bolt was just CM but weaker. Thanks for the heads up.

I've liked gamora's attacks as it lets auto play runs naturally dodge big boss melee hits. Looks like she gets my attention once CW hits 5 stars (I'm stuck now as I've put so much time into JI as my main team. I could roll to Iron Man/Spider-Man /captain America through. I could buy costumes to cover the gap until I get enough dimension debris)

Edit: I also have to ask. How many of you have been tempted to hit buy when debris hits the store?

I've bought debris just because the dimension rifts are a huge energy suck and have low returns. Seeing as how you NEED them to level gear on higher characters I don't regret it.

As for CM's 5* skill, I still find it to be useful for crowd control as the enemies that don't die from it get knocked back allowing you to combo into another skill quickly. Doesn't make you anywhere near as much of a sitting duck as her beam ability does.

As for a post from the previous page, I have destroyer at 5* as well and actually prefer him to the 4* ultron (so far). Destroyers 5* ability is an AoE attack that deals fire damage so you get an initial boom plus damage over time. The biggest thing is that destroyer has an auto-stun ability whereas ultron's abilities don't constantly stun the enemy.

It's hard for me to replace 5* fully mastered Cap with uniform as my leader though, the massive HP boost is huge for survival purposes and with his damage immunity timer and 5* AoE crowd control skill he can single handedly take out teams in arena and get through auto-play levels without being downed.

At this point I have all characters unlocked, 3* or higher, and above level 25 with the exception of Nebula (have to grind her stage but found her to be underwhelming thus far).

If you guys have any questions about abilities or performance let me know and I can do some testing when I have time.

Not "tempted" to buy. In my case i consider it strategic to buy them since i hate how rare rifts show up, and even more rare for a rift with a bio i want to farm for shows up. Plus, i dont want to throw an insane amount of stamina for a few bios and some dimension debris.

That, and i dont really like the rift-only characters. I have a 4-star Destroyer and i dont think i need to rank him up further since i dont really use him anymore.

That said, i still do a few dimension rift runs when they show up with characters i want a shot at more bios for.

    Thanks guys.

    Ok, ranking stuff to buy:

    1. Dimension debris
    2. Energy
    3. Costumes
    4. Hard to get bios

    Waste to buy:
    1. Elite resets
    2. Xp chips
    3. Coins

Might Straight will take her out of a crowd quite easily and Blackflip Blast is another AOE attack that can cleanup after her 5 skill. There's no reason for her to end up surrounded and pounded. She's still pretty good. And her Proton Blast is still tops as a mob killer via kitng in a straight line. She's not nearly as bad as you make her out to be.

As i've said, because of the nature of the game no character is useless. We can have tiers to see who performs better than who, but the fact is that any character levelled, upgraded and powered up is still a viable pick to get through the game, and this is what i love about single player RPGs. I really appreciate how there isnt a paywall.

I disagree with the assessment of BW.

Black Widow is definitely top tier. I have her maxed...level 45, skills all maxed, gear all level 12 and Silent Night set for sustain with minimum 3 star ISO on every slot...that is much stronger than what was listed before.

Black widow can take a level 8 Villain siege boss down to 10-30% if careful and destroys everything in the Arena.

Remember that level 12 gear gives you an extra stat so it's worth it to level that gear up...just have to get the debris. ;)

Definitely agree. Personally from my 5* experience Luke Cage > Black Widow > Captain Marvel, but there's not that much separating them, and I don't regret spending the resources and time to take any of them that far. What will be interesting will be comparing them with War Machine and Spiderman, who are my next closest to 5* (probably a couple of weeks away, unless the flash sale gods are kind with bios).

Is it just me or do the flash sales always start with a Norn Stone deal or tickets for 30 minutes when you first log in? I haven't seen any bio deals in ages. I am kicking myself now for passing up the 80 bios for Black Cat. ;(

Yes, that seems to be my experience, although I've read some people say it varies according to the time of day. I've had the most bio offers by leaving the app open (but phone locked) and just opening it up and checking it every half hour or so.

Just hit level 50 on the account. Xp has stopped so 100 energy is the current cap.

Guess I should start using those 1,085 tickets...

Beat VS 8! Had 8 level 40s left and it took all 8. I used to try combos but ramping difficulties have me just soloing with each.

My last hero was Spider-Man and I took off the last 20 percent with 3k hp left. Final boss (Ronan) was level 52.... One day.

I forgot to burn off iron man prior to the fight. He does Nothing to Destroyer thanks to his energy immunity. I've considered leveling ghost rider (4 star power is fire immunity) but he's by far my least favorite character

Hindsight: had I not wasted IM I could have at least seen the last stage.

Um... Something feels wrong if it took 8 lv40 characters to takedown stage 8 in Villain Siege. Takes me 3 lv40 characters each time, except when it is Doc Ock or Bullseye then it could take 4.

Are your character skills levelled up? Weakest lv40 is Spiderman with lv15 skills across the board. Everyone else has lv30 and up on their skills.

Gotta say, there's not much I fear taking on with this team.

Woh... when did Iron Patriot skin go live?

EDIT: Just checked... It's live, and there's a Falcon skin too. Nice :)

EDIT2: Seriously? The Iron Patriot skin adds stun to his already highly interruptive punch skill? I think they just made a top-tier character OP with this skin.

Cash and debris are the issues. My skills and gear are mostly 20ish and 9ish. Only spider and marvel really have both invested lol.

It's also the first time I won so there's a learning curve there. I could have done this weeks ago if I knew spider man (40 skills, 12 gear) could cut him in half.

So yeah, just bragged I'm a noob lol.

Glad I held off on the avengers package. I saw the new skins. Any one have a high level Falcon? I've felt stuck running elites for him because I'm going for red stones.

Two U.S.-themed costumes for the 4th. I still want to wait for a potential sale/package this weekend.

I clear Level 9 VS regularly (first clear was when I had just BW at 5*; rest were 4*/level 40s). It's also about knowing the matchups - for ex. Level 40 Vision solo'd Ronan on VS7. Level 40 Black Panther took out 75% of VS8 Destroyer and Hulkbuster finished him off. VS9 Ronan took more characters though. But I had them leftover with how well 7 and 8 went.

Yeah... Knowing matchups are important in completing VS stages.

Ronan is easiest when kiting, especially with high-interrupt characters like War Machine and Vision. Even Kingpin does ok against him if he sticks to his gun move.

I like using Vision against Doc Ock though, since his forward and backward movement-on-demand skills can let you avoid those pesky lasers while dealing damage and in turn reposition yourself afterwards. Same reason why i love using Iron Man vs Ock.
