Awesome Squeek! I'm 2 wins from rank S, but it's been a back-and-forth win one lose the next kind of deal. I've been getting 3 wins a day but trying to bust into S or grind thru 5 to 1 is definitely tough. EDIT: just cracked rank S. I'm going to stop playing for a few days and coast in without taking an inevitable loss Lol
Damn, so I read it here, still didn't sink in until I tried SO2 today.....my 1st 2 lvl 30 characters were Cap and IM......and neither can be used....I tried running my lvl 30 2* Hawkeye and lvl 26 Starlord with lvl 29 IF, but couldn't even get thru one round of the first match! Well.....back to SO1 to finish off what's left. I'll get IF to lvl 30 soon, but Starlord will take a bit and that setup leaves me without a tank, so I think I'm out on this SO. There are different reasons for a lot of people not wanting to play this SO.....damn, Playdom kinda screwed the pooch on this one...
The only mission I had a hard time with was epic ironman, because you get no breathing room. What characters are you guys using?
I just tried this and it worked: if you have a daily challenge that requires a PvP match, you can do a practice match and it will still complete the task...at least the "win 1 PvP match."
Ok I can't beleive this $#!+ .....every time I fight Yellow Jacket in SO 1 mission 2 (pre-requisite to opening up his epic battle in mission 3, which is the final task), the damn game crashes at some point during the match. Has anyone else experienced this, and any work around? I did the usual force close before starting the mission and the game still crashes.....this sucks
I've never seen a game have so many game breaking bugs EVERY update. -The music stops playing out of nowhere - Groot's cuttling mode is bugged, and he dies as soon as he enters it, while also staying on the field causing your teammates to come out and they are unable to attack -The stupid crashes at every turn -Hank's passive still doesn't work after 4 months But yeah, I had that problem last month, mostly on the epic fight. I just did the force close thing, but I noticed the game crashed when YJ used his AOE beam attack mostly. I guess you'll need to beat or stun him before he does the attack that causes you to crash.
Yeah, there's definitely bugs everywhere. So I recall the AoE causing the crash last time, so that's probably it....damn, I don't have a heavy rnough hitter to put him doen fast enough. Between Cap, Hawk and IM I figured I could keep him stunned enough to dole out tons of damage but it's just not enough. If I could get my lvl 26 Starlord to 30, I'd have a good shot at it.
Finally managed to get through chapter 1 of Spec Ops 2 after ranking Electro to 30. Glad to have my Cap back although would rather go for Winter Soldier then Falcon.
Falcon is cool, but only if you don't have any other bruisers. I'm kinda concerned, because I saved up a bunch of AP just for Nova and now I don't know if I wanna work on winter soldier or 4* all my PvP team's skills.

PVP awards are here! Was so nice to get all of those awards. Now to wait another month for the next batch.
Yeah that was a nice little boost. I think Nova has some potential but ultimately a bruiser tank is going to get wiped by a blaster....IDK, we'll see. And darn it, I didn't pre-register for the game so no free GoG character for me. Lastly, I e-mailed the devs about the Yellow Jacket fight glitch in SO1 mission 2 and asked if they could just gift me 60 gold, which is what it will cost to bypass the task and finally get Ant Man....hopefully.... EDIT: I should say that will (I think) allow me to get the last task and fight epic Yellow Jacket....or at least I hope that's what happens because if I have to defeat YJ in mission 2, I guess I'm screwed until the game is updated and hopefully that gets patched.
Did you try turning down your graphics settings in the in game settings? I know the Reddit said something about that from an older version of the game, which is supposed to be fixed. But you know with updates, old bugs can creep in every now and then. Got Star Lord in the free GotG pre-register thing! He's #10 in my top ten favorite heroes, so I finally have one of the four possible from my list! [nerd - yeah, I have a list] Also finished Spec Ops 2. Maybe I should have tried to beat it without spending 5 gold to continue. Does paying to win cheapen the game? Yeah, probably. Whoops! I live Nova a lot, in general. Been reading his series on Marvel Unlimited the last week, so I'm enjoying having him.
Nova needs a re-work. His utility is awful, and the random chance of his bonuses makes his flow pretty lofty. I've been studying his skills, and nothing can overcome his very slow recharge and the fact that 60% of his skills take at least 60 energy away from him- so if you don't get his bonus that gives you a 5 on energy cost, you'll have to choose between speed or damage from one of the lower costing skills. Also his stats are hilariously low, to the point where any decent enemy could one shot him. I've never had a 3* perform this poorly.
