What's your take on Nova being viable? He seems sort of basic to me. Not bad, but not exceptional. Maybe I'm missing something?
Damn....I thought it was once you get into a rank, the rewards were automatically unlocked even if you dropped. Well, I'm at 2 with 3 wins away from 1.....now I'm a little concerned but it would take a lot of losing......maybe I can still hit S.
I've not seen it confirmed yet as I haven't dropped in that way, but people are reporting on Reddit that the most recent patch made it so you lose the rewards if you drop off the rank. Anyone willing to drop rank on purpose to confirm?
Now this was a few weeks back, but I had gotten into 5 and then dropped back to 6. I'm 99% sure that (at the time) I still had a check mark next to Nova as rewarded....although the game updated so.....
I made a mostake and doing the daily task. One was one pvp. Been losing. Rank 6 going again every level 30 with pluses. What fn update did they do???
FYI, you have to choose a side between Falcon and Winter Solider. Once you do that, you can't choose the other side with a $10 IAP. So... game deleted.
Do you mean when you select a "Civil War" hero that they give you? My choices were Cap and IM (and I ended up with IM....50/50 chance). But I didn't get to choose sides... EDIT: I should note that I haven't started SO 2 yet. That also brings me to a Q. If we haven't finished SO 1 and start SO 2, do we lose progress in SO 1, or will I be able to go back to it? I used the key on SO 1, which I thought would keep it opened for me until I beat it.....?
Why is Spec Ops 2 so hard! I can't even beat the first fight in chapter one its four stars. I don't get it
Yeah, I arrowed down your Reddit comment. Come on, man! How else do you think this otherwise generous game is ever going to make enough money to stay viable? You should only lose progress in the current chapter of SO 1 if you leave to start SO 2. All your progress should remain, and you should have permanent access because of the key. Note the should. No, the choice isn't the CW IM or Cap - that's just a free thing you get. When you start SO 2 Chapter 2, you pick to side with Cap (play to get Falcon) or Iron Man (play to get Winter Soldier). Apparently you will not get access to the other side without a SO Key, which costs $10 after you finish the path you pick. I chose Cap's side, because I love Falcon and feel 'eh' about Winter Soldier, though a lot of people thing WS is the better character in game. It was the same for me in SO 1 until I had level 30 characters. Do you have any? I blew through Chapter 1 pretty easily, so I'm thinking maybe that's it?
Im doing the spec ops 1 and the final battle with antman level 30 always crashes at the end. So I can't pass it.
Yeah I have three level 30 characters. My Cap that I relied on is restricted and can't be used. Hawkeye and Hulk are just not up to the task. Guess I have work to do and level up some more heroes. I have a few level 20s but they get killed easily.
Yeah, I guess which characters is a big deal, too. I use a level 30 Black Widow, Wasp, and Luke Cage, with a level 30 Hawkeye on standby (and then whatever I've got sitting around).
It isn't about me thinking they don't deserve money. It is them creating two classes of players - those who spend, and those who don't. If the archive key could be earned through play (purchased with gold, silver, through achievements, whatever) it would be a different story. That's fine. I can earn gold, so given enough time I could earn the key. But making it so someone can't get a character without spending actual money is a very bad thing for a PVP game. They already have earned the honor of being one of the worst developers in mobile history when it comes to doing the right thing for the customers. Doing this is just the final nail. They've proven they can't be trusted.
I don't know. I mean, maybe if I cared about both characters more I would be more upset, but, as a wise user once said: I'm just not that concerned about not having every character. Of course, all that being said, all these games (and all games in general) are time sinks, so if you want to quit, your life will probably be better for it in the long run. We will miss having you in the thread!
Yeah don't leave andysmash! There is still a lot of fun to be had. And when you think about it they might release alternate versions of the characters like they have done with AoU and now Civil War. So you might still be able to get a character you want just not that specific version. Don't call it quits just yet!
I have my ol' fathful Cap and have started using Starlord and Wasp alot. Pretty much kickin ass, but yeah it sucks not being able to use my Cap in the new Spec Op yet. I do have a Captain Marvel and Drax almost at 30 tho but it's still tough. I'm working on starring up my skills and stuff now tho.
Yeah, his current build is pretty random-I'm hoping it changes when I get to test him. Miles is the only help on my team with crowd control ATM, so Nova's versatility is welcome. Almost have 10k AP saved up, so we'll see how he synergies.
