Do I have to keep playing every day continuously? I mean are the gifts every 7 days choosing from the same avengers set (Thor/Hulk/Iron Man/Cap America/Black Widow)? Thanks!
Solid! I haven't started Heroic yet, but did get thru normal and hard. Got comic IM and tac Cap to 30, got Hawkeye to 2* and now working him to 30 (already got his gold solitaire, which was a b**** to get!) Just going thru Spec Ops....did I ever forget how f'd up the task list is. At least this one I (also) used the key on, so it'll get done eventually...soon-ish Lol
You'll make it. Just make sure you open up all the paths before you get to the end. I got confused and didn't beat Bowman before I went to play epic Yellowjacket, and then when Ant Man didn't unlock I thought something was bugged (haha, insect heroes and villains). But I figured it out, and now I have Ant Man as of 10ish minutes ago!
The Reddit has a ton of good info on all the characters too. I totally dig this game. Coming from Galaxy of heroes it really offers a ton more balancing right off the bat, almost all teams are viable because you can customize how your characters play. Want iron fist to dps, you can. Want iron fist to be a healer, you can. Sounds like the official forums are fairly active too and the devs have some cool and much needed features they are going to be adding - sounds like they listen to the players. I've not spent a single penny and have a ton of characters. Gold seems abundant. I spent it all the time for refreshes and sometimes pvp spins. Pvp is fun but like everyone will mention evade needs some work. You'll run into all kinds of viable teams though that don't use wasp... I've finished all of chapter 1 and 2, thru heroics and unlocked the characters. Almost done with chapter 3 tasks. I am S rank in pvp and have finished the ant man spec ops. I have BW, wasp, hawk, IF, Rocket, and SW at level 30. Most are 3 stars. If you like these collectors, some good bit of turn based strategy combat and marvel this is a great game so far and as I mentioned it seems like more good things to be added. Chapter 4 should be soon maybe end of April!
I think the pvp is kinda broken. Level 16 heros beating level 26 seems broken to me. Black widow op as heck. Took out my whole team by the 2nd round. It is still fun but shaking my head to some of it.
It's sort of fun to be the Black Widow doing that, though! Just hit S rank, today. Rocking BW, Was, and Luke Cage. I'm on a 12 winning streak right now. So, yeah, balance is an issue.
I have only the last task left in the Spec Op for Ant-Man, the Monocle and Jacket task to defeat Epic Yellow Jacket. I defeated YJ, but I didn't get the task reward. Am I missing something? Is there an "Epic" version that I need to find in some specific way? Was it just a bug or something? Also, quick strategic advice, please. Should I plan to use Hulk or She-Hulk in the future? Right now I run Iron Man and Iron Fist. I'll be keeping Iron Fist for a long time, so I probably won't be working on leveling other Scrappers. I don't have any other Protectors available other than these Hulks, and Iron Man is my current best Blaster. Should I switch Iron Man out for Black Widow? tl;dr Which is better: Iron Fist, Iron Man, She Hulk or Iron Fist, Black Widow, Hulk or some other combination, including Spider-Man, War Machine, Luke Cage, and Gamora?
Also, what's the best way to build Black Widow? I like the idea of Shock stacking, and I love stun, but with Iron Fist on my team, maybe I should go unarmed and stealthy instead based around Systema.
@styrixa - I thought I remembered a mention of this. Here's a post several pages back....I'd just check the wikia or reddit boards. Theyvusually go into some specifics on how to complete tasks. Yay rank 6 today. Looks like I probably will get nova. Funny yesterday it took forever to get 3 wins today just 3 battles.
I had that same issue around rank 6. Then I went 21 rounds straight without a loss. You should definitely get Nova!
Yup. you're good. It isn't a bad idea to quit now and not risk dropping, if you don't feel like you can make it all the way to S. Besides, Nova doesn't look that great, and his 3-star move would only cost 1,500 if you wanted it. That's not too expensive if it turns out he's secretly incredible.
Trying to 4-star heroes is as annoying as I thought it would be, haha. I'm going to have to fight Militant five times with Ant-Man in order to do enough damage to him to fulfill that requirement (Militant has 6,000 health and you need to do 32,000 damage to him). And do 15 Scouting Missions with Ant-Man? That's like two weeks! Oy.
Angela was the easiest to get to 4* for me. Gamora's was broken and Mile's requires too much. I've been saving AP for Nova to get him to 4* within the first week.
