Also reminder that Stars basically don't matter. Everyone is a 4 star hero just waiting to happen. Getting a 3 star is just getting a head start on 4 stars. But it isn't like getting a 3 star is "better" than a 1 star. They all end up at 4 in the end.
What would you pay to reduce or eliminate timers? I would pay 2-5$ to reduce them, like cut them in half, and I would pay up to 10$ to eliminate them. I'm on the edge of quitting because in hate the timers so much. I just want to play and explore and have fun. Timer management is not fun. Blegh!
Timers do suck, agreed. This franchise is one of the few games with timers that I'll put up with. Energy comes frequently enough, plus with rank ups that stack energy, and only 5 gold to refill. If u do the daily missions, that's basically one "free" refill a day. If u are referring to scouting, yeah that timer is a beast. I know the devs needed to keep the game engaging and give us something to keep working towards. Unfortunately timers are the only way to do that (unless they released a bunch of updates just to add the heroes we're already able to play as).
And remember to exit out of the game every time you do a scouting mission and you will never loose energy by a dumb crash.
I'm disappointed that Hank's passive has been broken since beta, and that Gamora's 4* stealth task doesn't register no matter how you complete it. I wish there was a way to get them already at 4*, because this is stupid. On a side note, I got Angela and Miles to 4* last week.
Oh man, that's something. I don't have the patience to bother getting anyone to 4. Or, I should say, I don't want to take the time knowing they'll likely nerf the best parts of. Anyone I think is good enough to take to 4, haha. I'll get Angela there and they'll kill her value the next day. Meh. Easy enough to win with 3.
Just got Ballerina to 4*. Starting to play through Spec Ops 1. Beat Epic Green Goblin this morning. At rank 3 in PvP. Still having fun!
I'm having a hard time finding Optimized CPUs, the yellow square looking thing used for level 10 Research material. I have a maxed level 9 Black Widow, and that is the last thing I need. The game says it is found in all Chapter 1 Missions (high chance), but it is not appearing. Will it more likely appear in normal level missions? I am mostly running hard to finish them out and complete tasks. My primary characters are high teens or low 20s. Do my chances increase if Black Widow herself is on the team, or at least in reserves? Any other ways of manipulating my chances in my favor? Unrelated Question: Who can "intimidate?" Is it only Modern Angela?
Hmm, not sure why ur drop rate is so low. I've been playing for 2 weeks and have 1 lvl 30, a few 29s, and a ton between 9-19 (depending on how much scouting materials I have and need). If u hold down over the item, it will pop up a box showing where to find it (sounds like u already got that part). Difficulty shouldn't matter unless it's specified in the item's description. To answer ur other Q, Moon Knight, Spider Woman, Groot, and I read Wasp too but I think she does demoralize (may be another move I don't use if I'm playing with her). Reddit and wikia both have an maa 2 wiki that gives info from task completions to hero builds etc. Definitely hit them up.
I used to think that, too, but the stat boosts are too much to pass up. Plus the pvp characters are easier to get to 4* for some reason. Miles stats at full boost are spectacular, and I haven't got most of his ISOs to 5* yet. Have fun on the end of chapter 2 and all of chapter 3. Make sure you bring a wasp or a heavy duty tank with you.
What is with the reward that is just a ? question mark Iso-8 Crystal? Does that go into my inventory, but it doesn't tell me what it is right away?
I found my own answer on Reddit. Thanks kietrocks kietrocks 7d, 19h I think if you get more than 1 ISO8 fragment of the same type from a mission the game displays the 1 question mark icon instead of showing different pictures for each ISO fragment of the same type. It happens in regular missions too. However since ISO8 drops at a higher rate in Spec Ops and there are only 2 ISO8 types which can drop you are more likely to get more than 1 of the same type of ISO8 there.

I've just been playing for 7 days and got given a free avenger does this happen every 7 days? I'm beginning to regret my iron man choice!
Every 7 days is a super nice gift, plus lots of other rewards along the way. I pulled Ironman randomly, and I'm extremely happy with him. His sheer power blows everyone else away. I hope my next Avenger is Cap, as I still don't have a Tactician (although I do have a 2 star Cap that is a Bruiser).
