I guess everyone has noticed that any extra dossiers you research beyond your particular requirements will spill over? But yeah, remains to be seen if it's possible without IAP.

I turned in the 2,000 gold, too, without thinking about it >_<

Ah well. Let's hope things change as it progresses.

Caved and got the red generator. I'm a sucker for a woman in power armor. I think that'll be enough to get me through by next Monday.

So I'm only on my third globe. Am I gonna make it or do I gotta get at least 5 globes a day? I don't know if I can get 7 more globes to make it to 10 by today. I tried to read the chart on Reddit but I'm not really getting it. I don't play religiously so if that helps any. I could probably afford to get a generator but if I buy one I'm afraid I'm gonna cave and get all three. I've only spent like $10 so far on the hulk event cuz I wasn't gonna get a bomb if I didnt.

I don't think it would be possible for anyone else to tell you if you can do it or not. I think they've specifically made it close-to-impossible to calculate this event to "encourage" people to buy IAP because they fear they won't make it. It was very easy with previous events to do some short counting-on-fingers math to figure out what you needed to do. But this? Woof. Especially since it appears the person who will actually craft the globe is random, making it harder to predict hour-to-hour who needs to be available.

My best advice is to place an alarm on your phone to go off as soon as the next soonest mission is complete. Collect it, place another alarm for the next soonest mission. As long as you DO play religiously, always collect ASAP and don't slack, you'll probably make it.

Try your best and hope for luck.

Oh, and don't just get one generator. That won't help in the longrun. You'll be sitting there with a surplus of red dossiers and not enough of the other colors to craft with. Pointless to get one unless you get all three.

It's a real gotcha, this whole thing. The turn in event is the worst, for planning. That random person could be anywhere in a 8/6/4/2 hour dossier action, which grinds up your progress. Even with the generators, you have to fight that.

On the other hand, I sort of like the gamey-ness of this one. It's a little complex and isn't just throwing down money to pay and win. Though it's going to be so tight, and the urge to grab shards to run on Monday will be monstrous.

From what I understand, you need to get 3 every day and 4 on one day. Just go a couple days and see if you are on track. It's a little early to panic considering that last time they gave a bonus to those who were behind that helped many catch up.

So in another forum a guy said he has rescue already. He spent 3000 gems on buildings and speed ups. Afterwards he says the buildings are useless and I'll you really need to do is speed up globe craft quests and the purple dossiers. So I'm on 6 right now if I don't get at least 3 today I'll probably start speeding things up

I've got 8 with another done crafting in about an hour. Just put on a timer. Really, it is as easy as that. Figure out which task ends next, put on a timer, rinse repeat. You'll get it easy.

The good news is that the dossier requirements have been lowered drastically so this event is looking a lot more feasible.

10 here as well. Will have 11 in an hour from this post. Not sure if I'll make it at this rate. Yeah they lowered the dossier requirements but the globe crafting is what takes forever.

8, working on 9. With the lowered requirements, I should be okay, though. Setting timers makes all the difference.

I have a large frontload of yellow and red dossiers. With the new requirements, I'm not using Tony, Widow, or Wasp anymore for new dossiers. This ensures they're free when globe time comes. Enchantress, falcon, and loki can get 1 and a half dossiers for each globe researched. Loki's the only one of my "miners" who also gets globes. If I plan accordingly, I can be sure he's free before his time to build globes comes. Should do the trick for the remainder of the event....

    Here's hoping.

    Dammit...

I wanted to recruit Potts so badly so I bought all the stupid towers...
Now the globe crafting requirements has been lowered (which is a good thing) but I can't help but feel that I got scammed... T_T

Yeah I don't get why they lower the requirements other than a lot of people whining without actually trying the event. I didn't pay anything and would have completed easily anyways, but I'd be a bit peeved if I had splurged on a tower. This game seems really geared towards the F2P players, which makes it hard to know where to invest if you are willing to put money into the game.

Exactly the same as with A-Bomb and Red Hulk. A-Bomb was hard to get, Red Hulk was easy.

Step 1: Introduce a character with a limited recruitment window and a seemingly very difficult path to unlocking.
Step 2: Recognize that many people (see this whole thread) believe it will be impossible to recruit the character.
Step 4: Introduce premium items people would need to spend real money to acquire that will make it easier to get the character.
    Step 5: Collect money.
Step 6: Make it easier to recruit the character so the large majority of players (FTP) will not feel like success is impossible.

Lesson to be learned - don't buy premium items to make recruitment of characters easier. Be patient and set timers.

True enough. I bought the lab for Red Hulk and was finished like 4 days early :p. I will say, I'm not sure I'd have gotten A Bomb without the lab though. It seems really worth it to check out the Reddit page for this game. Several players do the math every event and lay out spread sheets. A few pay their way through to see what it takes, and at least one hacks the data, so the info is pretty accurate. Even so, it of course means less when the rules are changed on the fly.

I got A-Bomb for free with 20 hours to spare, and I didn't use shards or Reddit :)

But I think that's why they are making the events more complex. If people KNOW they can do it via spreadsheets, there's no fear they won't make it. Without that fear, they won't make money. They need the fear of missing out to make IAP purchases.
