Hey guys! We (tastypill) are proud to announce our newest game Mars Mountain hitting the app store in a collaboration with Bulkypix on 4/14. Mars Mountain is a retro endless arcade game, which takes place on Mars. You've crashed landed your ship and now must jump down the mountain dodging fireballs, evading UFOs, escaping man-eating plants and much more in an effort to locate repair canisters for your ship. Our goal for this game was to re-imagine the qbert gameplay style and put our own spin on it to make it unique from anything that has been done before. We focused primarily on giving it a fast paced dodgey type feel. We would love to hear opinions so tell us what you think! Gameplay Preview: Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
One of the games we wanted to differentiate ourselves from was Down the Mountain. We promise the gameplay has a completely different feel to it @novichok2008, the game will be free.
Can't wait to try. Down the mountain was full clip. Unloaded on us this powerful new type of game that everyone I knew that tried it was addicted to it
Whoa, this is looking cool as all hell with all the stuff going on around you. I want this asap! ETA, to launch or test flight?
Awsome art! I love how you turned the standard square character ever so slightly. Instead of the usual format of having the characters face on one whole flat side of the square, you rotated it ever so slightly so that the face stretches over two flat sides and is split down the center with the corner acting as the nose. I think it adds an awesome dimension to the art. Oh and the game looks rad too. Best of luck
