The update is out, and the bug is fixed! However, I did run into some problems. Firstly, the app would hang on boot every time. I had to delete and reinstall to get it working. Then I thought I'd lost my progress. It began on the first platform, with the tutorial again. I quit the app and restarted, now it's all good. Thanks for getting the update out so quickly!
Finally made it to the end. Got far too obsessed with this. If anyone's interested, the last selfie is at platform Spoiler number 10001 . If you want to know what happens after you reach it Spoiler there's a very large ocean you fly over (I started to think it would never end and thought maybe I was supposed to crash into it to end the game) then you loop back to the beginning: something I was kind of expecting from the name of the game . All characters unlocked (I did this way before the end), all selfies complete and a new high score of 681 so I think I'm done now. Minor notes: I wish it stopped asking you to watch ads for coins and letting you send for new arrivals after you've got all 30 characters (not including the paid-only characters). The "take all selfies"achievement didn't unlock when I took my last selfie. I had to take one of them again before it worked.
Fantastic game and now fully working with iOS 10. So much easier when you can see the character Good work Dev and I think it's time for me to buy an eldorado to say thanks!
