Can't we at lest wait until the month is over before we make the GotM? I mean, it's not applied anywhere else in life, but still...
Yes.... Great little war game needs to be there.... I'm not surprised it isn't, as not many people have it from what I can tell, but it definitely deserves it. And, from what I've heard (haven't picked up too many games this month) Landa panda Robot wants kitty Max & the Magic Marker fight night Forget me not and the upcoming releases Then again..... with only ten spaces.....
mission europa takes my vote!! my runnerup would be robot wants kitty cuz these are the too games ive played most this month
If you include: Other (please name a game below) Then any game YOU forgot but WE think is the best game can be included in a catch-all. Pretty much all polls have this. I can think of three off the top of my head you didn't include that I would easily voted for in an other category. Max and the Magic Marker; Liqua Pop and Neuroshima Hex Puzzle. And that is without actually looking at the releases for the month. The other key is to pick out different genres so that there is something for everyone. If you pick out - say - 10 shooters, then non-shooter fans will say what is this crappy poll. Or 10 puzzlers, etc. Well you get it - include a couple from as many genres as you can to encourage not only voting but a nice variety of choices.
I guess "Mission Europa" is the leading Game of Month till now, glad I voted for it.. actually just few days back i have started playing the game but if you consider Final fantasy 3, it's also a nice gaming experience I had.
Thanks. If I do another poll (key word: "if") I will take your suggestion into consideration. I can't say that I sat down and outlined a methodology to select my games. I just glanced over my March purchases and laid them all out - 5 minutes. I think if I had included an "other" category, it would be ranked probably 2nd or 3rd, but would be varied enough that I don't believe that any single game (other than Landa Panda perhaps) was unfairly overlooked.
