Definitely recommend it. It's only $0.99 but I play it so goddam much. Also it's universal now and I also normally play it on the bus on the way to school so it's a very good portable building-exploring game
Yeah I'm still talking about the same game it's just that when instabuys said manacraft was just a place holder I recomended changing it to ManaQuest because I reckon this game will be mainly about mana and quests, not mana and crafting... I guess that instabuys is going to keep the name manacraft though...
I have an idea for the quests. Maybe you can put rewards up, and be able to choose which blocks you want to receive, or you just receive them randomly. Also, a market-like place where you can buy blocks for (if you add) xp that you earn from quests? I dunno. Just suggestions, although it would be great. And tele porters. Get rare blocks (that you can buy) to form a teleporter to a different location. (ie. If you want to explore a different biome, you make a house and put a teleporter there. I hope there will be a compass to tell where you are. Or instead of buying blocks, use mana to teleport? For weapons, maybe add like spears (to kill trolls like in the video) that you can throw and hit them with. Or instead use mana to transform them into a little creature. If you add a market, maybe you could add spells for you to use your mana on, and upgrade how much mana you can have. That took longer than I thought...
When and where did the dev say he's adding creatures? Or is it just a rumour. Would be amazing if he did add creatures.
It doesn't really matter, because when ManaCraft comes, its going to blow Eden away. I just hope ManaCraft comes first. /:
Because I have seen it. The blocks don't even look as polished as ManaCraft, there are no awesome mobs in Eden (there will be, but they aren't awesome), there will be magic, there will be crafting, there's dungeons, the devs said they might at a multiplayer component. Do I have to go any more?
Another suggestion! Hey instabuy! I've got another suggestion. How about the ability to play a creative mode with no mobs etc., a survival mode (normal pretty much), and just other modes if you cam think of some... Also the ability to chose a flatland world would be pretty cool... But anyway that might be too hard and if so then don't worry about this...
Also... Also instabuy, are you going to have different worlds still? Like that maze one with the giant mushrooms and stuff?
I just spit coffee all over my monitor. Seriously, the game looks just like Minecraft with some weird texture pack. That's not a bad thing though because Mojango is so slow in bringing MineCraft to the iOS(if he's ever going to that is). I hope this game does really pull through; good luck, really. Also, as people have mentioned before, implementing custom controls is a must(especially for swipe controlling; analog stick for viewing has a bad reputation on the iOS for 3D games). Essentially, the controls of the game are what is going to measure the execution of the game; if it works well, then it will be very successful and vice versa. EDIT: Also SANDBOX MODE! Will make the game so much more better.
