Awesome! I've been wanting an action owRPG on the iPod touch for a long time. Tis the best news I've had all day that ones going into beta and another is stately development.
OMG. SINGLE-PLAYER MINECRAFT WITH RUNECRAFT. Can't wait. Although, you'd better make the controls good. And I mean it. Virtual controls (usually) suck. If you make the controls good, I'll definitely buy into it.
Those are some beautiful blocks. I also see you've made the player taller than blocks Or you're jumping xD
Sharp eye there MystikSun. I did make the player taller. Also finally got placing blocks working too.
That's great Aside from doing these quests, will we have the ability to build structures on our own, like a freeplay mode?
With multiplayer will you be able to have in-game chat and also be able to join up with others to mine, craft and do quest together. And please make this wifi + 3G oh yeah you guys have a twitter that I can follow you on?
That last screen is ****ing dope. Can't wait to get my hands on this game. Seriously if multiplayer is added and it has dedicated servers with constant updates this is a game I'll be spending alot of time on and another question: will there be gamecenter support with achievements? It would be nice to have like 200 achievements like: build of heaven, and you basically get the achievement for building something that is 100 bricks tall or something. Idk, but achievements and goals and quest w/ multiplayer is making me skeet over the place in anticipation.
I agree with Metroplex. Since I'm a dedicated SMP player, having multiplayer on my iPod would be the best thing ever. Maybe something to do when griefcraft's server is down, and when I'm away from home. Heck, if it runs fast and plays well, it might be more fun than minecraft itself!
Looks great so far, hope you'll implement a swipe to look feature. I always find a "look" stick hard to use.
Just found this site for another Minecraft port for the iOS. dunno for sure, but I'm personally thinking it's a hoax because it says it's not on the only page of the website. http://minecraftapp.net/ Oh, and the graphics look pretty much like the original. They don't look like any of the other minecraft clones we've seen on here before.
That's because that's a screenshot of Minecraft And yeah, I don't think it's legal to be using a screenshot from the original and say it's a sneak peak of your game. Edit: It's not endorsed by Notch/Mojang
Yes. Not sure yet, but we are trying to. We will implement multiple control styles. Which do you like better? Slime? Lava?
