nice upcoming updates, sounds like it will enables even more combos. unfortunately i have found a winning combo - archers only - with a 1300 point deck stack enough +dam and money bags, + a bit extra range, and you can beat all levels on master, with full health, with only white archer towers cards. -which kinds kills some of the experimenting and removes the needs for dragon canons or building updates only time i have lost with it, was 2 players, one with +200% archer fail rate and the other with *3 times building cost + some pauper in the very beginning...
we lookin' at end of Feb? @Cricri577 - just a thought so don't go postal as most people do when i say this. you could have saved a lot of space by just saying 'nice update' without RE-POSTING tricket's entire post. we know what you're referring to after all it's just two above yours. it's not like you're referring to something someone posted 3 pages ago. just something to keep in mind so we all don't have to scroll through the same LONG post twice...thanks
Part of that should be fixed with some tweaks (I won't say nerfs) to Moneybags ... it's rarer now (which won't affect you, if you already have the card), and also costs more in your deck per point of goodness. I'll look at the other issues, like archer damage or range. And do feel free to post things that you (or anyone) finds as unbalanced .. I record all the things people say here and stick them on a "Go check this!" list I have. I don't get to them all immediately, but that way it helps me remember what might be out of balance, and why.
We're hoping to do final testing and submit to Apple by around this Wednesday. If nothing goes wrong with that, Apple usually takes about a week to approve, so hopefully around Wednesday-after-next. (And I have to admit that I'm guilty of the "quoted too much" as well at times, especially in this thread -- I've just hit the reply button without realizing how much I'm quoting, until I see it later!)
probably half the world's problems stem from people not paying attention to what they're doing it's prevalent everywhere and it ticks me off. someone will post something that's 3/4 of an entire forum page long with 3 pictures and the freaking guy right below him quotes the entire 3/4 page post WE JUST SAW and says 'i hear ya' or something lame like that. pisses me off especially when having to scroll on a small screened device.
regarding balance: i hardly use the 2 nukes types + goon spawning in the endgame but used them some in the beginning before getting any moneybags cards/building discount -so dont know if they can be made more usefull for players in the long run? -maybe also add a 'freeze nuke'? i think the archer build superiority stems from the inefficiency of mid level barracks. i mostly bought level 1 for blocking and lv 4 for the knights who could stun. even with +75 dam, the barracks is not a viable dam output and requires a lot of them the mage lv 1 seems poor compared to archers = hard to use in the start of level = not used them. -but thats only a subjective oppinion generally= lv4 buildings are so much better than lv2+3, so you rarely bother with good lv 2+3 cards, unless its decreased building costs. -eg. the powers upgrade of lv 4 are not subjected to 'more expensive building' card = you buy a few buildings to lvl 4 fast, the pay for upgrades after those cards have been played, not bothering with any more lv 1-3 buildings.
ohh - and: rewards for 'def online' is kinda low, compared to play against ai. -so little incentivr to do it and very few peiple do it anyways....

I have to admit that various aspects of online play just haven't gotten the programming love that they should have, yet. There's a bunch of stuff we wanted to get done for it, past the 1.0 "It works!" behavior, which is where it is now. Hopefully after this coming patch we can finally take some time to spruce that up a bit!
Sorry Mack! I was referring to the yellow barracks card Tricket posted. Currently, barracks, archers, mage and cannons only go up to orange due to a bug. This is going to be fixed n the next patch. I saw his yellow barracks and drooled. Shay
Yeah moneybags is the big hitter. It is a bit disheartening but being on this thread long enough, I know tom and the gang are hard at work to remedy some things. And in all honesty, I still have a blast due to the card mechanic. The new prestige levels along with monster resistance will help a lot. I'd love to see levels that make you rethink your deck.
got it!...that was a few days ago coupled with the "confusion" where he says gold and you say yellow.
Oh, unrelated to other stuff, but something we're looking to sneak in at the last minute, now that some of the card stuff has been fixed -- we're adding on an additional level of card (nicknamed "Epic" internally) that'll show up with ... probably some type of blackish texture border. It'll be the next level after gold/yellow. (If you had some upper level gold cards in your current deck, we may tweak them just a bit and upgrade them to black for a smoother balance.)
well, maybe hold off until you can fully test it. there's already enough neat stuff in the patch to satisfy everyone. don't hold off on the patch, only the new content.
