thinking about grabbing this. hows the card system work? I know thats vague and it's probably listed somewhere in here but if someone can give me some quick insight id appreciate it
Got an orange +59% to archer range. I have two orange archer reload cards, and one orange archer bolt speed card. I have two white archer damage cards (10% each). Very tempted to give archer another go!
Everything in the game, towers, abilities etc. are cards. The first few levels give you the basic tower cards.(level 1 archer, level 2 archer, level 3 archer etc.) after that they drop randomly on levels and you can buy them with gems. gems are the in game currency. You get plenty but you can buy them cheap if you like. As you get further in the game, it gets more difficult. At this point you will start combining cards and making better ones. There are 5 card color rarities. White Green Orange Purple Yellow Keep in mind that the combining outcome is totally random as far as which card you get. It will be a card from the same category though. So let's say you combine a level 1 archer, a level 2 archer and a level 3 archer. The result could be a level 1,2,3 or even a 4 level archer. Also, do not combine cards that you need unless you have a spare. Because, if you destroy your only level 2 archer, you can't create a level 3 archer. At some point you will run out of deck space. Each card has a number value. The better cards usually have a higher value. When this happens you can buy more space with gems. As you buy space, the cost goes up each time. If you like TD games, don't miss this one. If you like tcg games you will like it even more. I have already logged 30+ hours easy in this game. Shoot, probably way more. The card combining is addicting and once you beat the game on master, you have the map editor which is amazing and an offensive deck that people can fight against. Hope this helps!
I'm loving the game, but sadly it is crashing more often than not when I try to start a game. Sometimes if I restart and go straight to a level I can get it to go, but more often than not it goes right back to the desktop. iPhone 4 fwiw. Anybody know a workaround for this?
oh, what does it take to make an offensive deck active? No matter how many or what cards I add, it says deck not ready

Hey, everyone! Just wanted to let you know that we've been working on the memory issues the last few days, and I've found a bunch of stuff that makes the iPhone version a lot happier -- we've been testing the fixes a bunch in the last day, and we're hopeful that we can submit the patch to Apple tonight, which would make it live in ... probably a little more than a week from the coming Monday, would be my guess. That'll mainly affect people playing on an iPhone 4 or 4S, so if you've been getting crashes on one of those ... hopefully this'll fix it!
So much range. I didn't expect the two on the right to stack, but they do. I'm glad I checked whether they stacked or not before I sold one!
Yes it is rather excessive! I really don't think the two on the right should stack. The archer sound effects are really irritating after a while if they are shooting constantly and nothing else is attacking. I might have to build some mages or artillery just for a bit of a change! Also archers aren't the best for large groups, even if the whole map is in range.
Has anyone beat looping back on master? I've done every other level except that one. Each time I just get overwhelmed by to many troops.
