Nice offensive deck oooomonkey. Owned me pretty good. First time I played, I underestimated it and barely won. Second time I was ready and lost.
Actually, in the (not-yet-released) 1.3 iPad version (1.1 iPhone), the cost of the dragon cannon has been upped a bit, while the damage from the fire has been toned down. Hopefully not enough to make it totally irritating, though!
The memory crash bug is what I'm working on right now -- 95% sure that's the bug you are hitting. Stupid workaround for the short-term: if you go out one more level (to the accounts screen) after making a change to your deck, that'll force the game to make sure the changes are saved. I know it's annoying, but it's something that should work until we get this patch out!
On the crash -- thanks, we'll check into that. It's certainly possible that some animation is sticking around when it shouldn't be! For deck size -- no hard maximum, but the costs to keep adding deck space eventually get kinda ridiculous.
Wow, that .... that is a truly terribly 306-cost card! Seriously, I don't know what boost that card thinks it has, that it clearly doesn't! I'll go hide my face in shame, now.
I assume that's the bug, it definitely seems to have got worse as I've progressed through the game. It got to a point with the backtrack level and again on the last one in chapter 2 where I thought I'd actually have to give up on it for now cos I couldn't progress any further. The go back to accounts workaround is a good suggestion thanks, can't believe I didn't try that! It's still one of the best TD style games I've played despite it's crashing and I'm really looking forward to the fixes and updates.
By the way, I should thank all of you guys who have had problems with the iPhone version crashing, and are still putting up with us. It's killing me to see the 1-star reviews on the App Store when people are getting crashes ... I just wish they'd e-mail us and let us tell them how to fix it, rather than killing our app rating, even though it's a totally fair complaint: when the game crashes, certainly seems reasonable to rate it low. So just, thanks, everyone, for sticking around and helping us make the game better, especially on the iPhone version!
I've had a couple of levels where I've had flaming arrows coming from nowhere? Helping kill the enemy's but a bit random, I've tried to take a pic of it happening. Bottom right hand corner of this screen shot.
You can have more than one of the same card??? I sold all my duplicate reinforcement cards. This changes everything!!!
I've got two of the exact same redshirt cards in my deck, so yes we can. Were we not meant to be able to? I never thought about it, just did it. Those guys are incredibly useful and I couldn't imagine getting far without them.
As far as we can tell, once in a while a building sticks around from the end of a level, and doesn't go away ... and then sits there, invisible (probably behind the level) happily shooting at things. At that point, it'll stick around a while, until the app fully closes, which on the iPad can be days or weeks. It's been tough to track down, because it never happens when we have a device ready to be connected to the debugger.
For whatever reason, we ended up picking the magic number of 2 for identical cards -- so you can have 2 identical redshirts, but not 3. However, the game treats the 2-person Redshirts as distinct from the 3-person Tres Amigos or the 4-person Two Plus Two, so you could theoretically fill up all 6 slots with varieties of redshirts, if you wanted to.
Yeah I am running two of those now and every tower hits the entire map. Needs a nerf Btw your offensive king gruffs can jump off a cliff monkey. Man they are tough with your 1 gazillion hp% cards lol. I finally built up a sweet archer deck then realized that was useless due to your 1 gazillions archer aim reduction. I finally did beat it, just depends on what level I get put on. I really need to upgrade my offensive deck.
