Sorry, we've tried to reduce the loading times as much as possible. They are pretty quick on the newer devices, but it can feel a bit sluggish on the older ones. There's simply a lot going on at that point, loading and setting up all the enemies and props, saving the game incase you decide to quite part way through the next level, uploading leaderboard scores etc etc.... And most importantly freeing up a bunch of memory when it's all finished to keep the iPod Touch's working happily. Many games struggle with iPods/3gs/ipad 1, we were determined not to be one of them.
No it's cool, I was just curious. I have a 4S so I know it's loading fast, it is more just an issue of 'artistic presentation' (in that it would look nicer to have an actual loading screen and then have the helicopter drop in without the pause). It's actually only an issue when you start the game up from scratch. When you go to continue after dying the helicopter drops right in, since the game loads right after you hit continue (if that makes sense).
Yeah it does. We did a bit to tidy it up in this version but we agree it's still not 100% awesome as we'd like.
Well, I like what I'm seeing in terms of the gameplay. Just remember to remove that little 'FREE' word that most paid users have to look at Keep up the good work and thanks for being responsive to questions/comments
Also, having the word free on the icon is confusing cause only lite versions of games have this type of inscription on them. So many people may get confused not download it. I know myself, if a game has an icon that says lite on it, I delete it right away to save disk space. I bought the plasma rifle right now! It matches well with my blue uniform that I bought. Now the game looks totally science fiction, and I like it so much more! Recommend purchase of the plasma rifle, cause it shoots so fast, it seems like a whole different game. For the time bomb mode, it helps a lot, and it makes the game feel like an arcade game, all that is missing is a good lightgun. When I bought the gun, it says I have to go to the armoury to equip, but I didn't have to, it already equipped when I bought it, so wanted to report that. Maybe it should read, if you want to change your weapon, go to the armoury. When I was fighting one of the planes in my new blue uniform with my new blue plasma rifle in time bomb mode; I kind of got the feel of Robotech, shooting around. Maybe you could make a science fiction shooter along these lines with some awesome Robotech bosses. You could essentially use a lot of this game's mechanics, but make it space themed, that would be rad. Anyway, the more I play, the more fun it is. But is there anyway to get more coins in time bomb mode? Keep dying so don't get many coins, but this mode is much funner to me than the regular mode. But if not, guess I gotta play the campaign more.... Gotta get some more coins for the healing thing and airplane bombs. And sumosplash, the movies had a lot of hooters too! And most of the audience was young women, so it wasn't all bad... Except for the tube shot... Haha

Yes, congrats! I was looking at the itunes description, and it was cool to see a lot of the new costumes in the sample pictures. Wonder which one I'll buy next... The manbikini! Not!
the game automatically does it... to jump, you either press two fingers to the screen, or press the 'jump' button when it appears.
WOOHOO! Got another GiftCard, and got 25,000 coins... Picked up the minigun, plasma gun, loads of power ups and some outfits... But damn... The one minute mode TOTALLY opens up when you have the plasma gun... I think my score went from 7,000 to 70,000! No idea how those guys are getting those top 5 scores... Guess I need to start using all these power ups as well... But damn... This game has become SO much better with the new modes, the new weapons, and everything else. The more I play, the more I'm blown away that you made this update free, didn't charge for the new modes, and even that you went freemium. People that are getting the whole game for free are damn lucky. I REALLY hope they recognize that, and throw you some $$$ for coins! You totally deserve it!
Yeah, I love the plasma gun, and yeah, it does make the game much easier. Now, I play the regular gun for a hard type mode, and use the plasma gun for more of a normal mode, since some parts of this game are quite hard with the regular gun, especially my funnest mode time bomb. I kind of want to get that alien guy next to match my plasma gun. Anyway, post a picture of your favorite uniform if you got time.

This is a very well done game really, even I'm not a fan of this control type, I hate the fact that I can see those enemies dieing at all...
I am very very very satisfied with the new update. I was a huge fan when it first came out but now with all the new additions... it's amazing. The IAP is very optional and the new modes can easily be unlocked over time. Is isn't even a problem considering how easy it is to rack up kills in this game. I think this IAP model is done fairly well for such a good game. My only annoyance is the icon. I think they could've made it free without slapping that FREE logo on it. I guess it was to attract more attention but I hate having any game that says FREE on the icon on my ipod =\
