i loved time crisis and so far i'm loving this. ninjas with hats are so cool love that funny idea. though i do wish the game had 5 stages instead of 3. that's make it good and lengthy
Read a good review over at TouchGen and tried it out. IMHO, another winner from AdultSwim, those guys are have an uncanny knack of picking the right games to distribute.
Fun game! Although the platforming elements feel gimmicky. Would be great to see a bigger mix of genres. But presentation is great and scoring system is motivating. Another Adult Swim winner.

It gets tougher. There are vehicles/bosses from level 10, platforming sections and sections where you are out of cover and running while shooting, you have to jump to avoid being hit. The enemies get harder and bonus ninjas and hostages become a little harder to get/rescue as well. All of it is spanned over 3 different worlds, each with different enemies. There is also a big final end boss to finish things up. After that you can go back and aim to get 3 medals on all the levels using all the weapons you've unlocked along the way. *Edit oh and the whole thing the first time through the 45 unique levels takes just over 2 hours.*
Right up my alley this exellent game ! The only thing that bothers me, that there is no option to switch the jump button to the left side. It just feels so terrible awkward to "change" the holding position of the iphone, being a "normal-right-hander". Maybe the devs did it on purpose not to get to easy on the game ? Anyone else with the same thinking ? I really want this option dear devs.
sorry if this has been answered, I scanned through the thread, and used the search option, and couldn't find an answer... What requirements do we need to meet to get 3 stars on a level? I thought it was just how high your score was, until I got 17k on a level, and still only got 1 star... even after destroying everything getting a crap load of combos, and the rapid kill scoring on every enemy... oO Also broke all the boxes, and wood planks, and shot all the couches and fans... =o/ Any help?
The stars are purely score based. Some levels only begin rewarding stars at around the 17k mark. Getting big scores like that become much easier once you have played through the entire game and unlocked all the weapons. Hope this helps!
Have you tried using the two finger tap to jump? I'm a normal right handed player (holding the phone with my left hand) Using my right hand to shoot I find the action button is easy to get to. I can see how it might be awkward if you are using your right hand to hold the phone..? But then you could always use your thumb!
Reading this thread has made me decide I need to check it out. Keeping my fingers crossed for Lee Lee's Quest on IOS!
