    Ye, on your iPhone 5.
But many people enjoying playing their games on a bigger screen like the iPad?
These are the people who are raging cause it's a pain in the ass to hold an iPad straight up in front of your face for a longer period of time.

The game is ruined by one control scheme. Tell me where do you see a shooter app with only one control scheme? Then the guns are expensive as anything. Apple would put anything on their home page now..Sigh. Deleted.

I was looking forward to this game until I read that it was gyro only, and not only that, you -have- to hold it up direct in front of your face because you can't calibrate the angle at which you can hold the device.

The last time I played a game like that, I gave it a chance for 5 minute before my arms gave out. It has nothing to do with muscles or arm strength. It's why you have to curl your muscles then uncurl them when lifting weights, which the devs used as an example.

The bigger your muscles get, the more strength you have to hold out with, but the increased weight from the denser muscles negates any new strength you may have gained. However, your muscles do get more stress resilient, but there is no way in hell I'm burning my arms out for some game.

Devs, you could have left the gyroscope for people who prefer a realistic shooting experience and given an alternation control scheme for everyone else. By sticking to one control scheme only because it "feels the best to you," you are effectively cutting off one leg in a marathon.

    Your loss really.

Good post, I am a workout fanatic, yet playing this game is really tiresome. What I don't understand is all successful business cater to many options, yet this dev wants to stick to one facet of their audience. Isn't business protocol to try and cater to more areas to increase profit? Oh well, deleted a long time ago, yet fingers crossed that the Devs would see that to increase profits, give options to reach a larger audience.

I have a theory as to why the developers refuse to implement touch screen aiming. A lot of gamers, including myself, have become very efficient at playing touch screen shooters. Meaning if this game had touch screen aiming, we'd be too good at it and advance too quickly, which in turn makes IAP's look much more useless. In my opinion, this game, for what it is, is great. I enjoy playing it. But I do wish touch screen aiming would be implemented.

Personally, I don't mind gyroscope controls, but this is ridiculous. SEGA's House of the Dead does it right with tight gyroscope controls. These ones are way too loose. Plus the fact that I have to hold my device straight out in front of my face isn't good either.

Add all of that together with a developer who seems too proud and stubborn to cater to what the players want, and you have an epic fail in my book.

Such a pity too, because otherwise, this game has a lot going for it. I could easily see myself spending money on the coin doubler if the controls weren't to obtuse and tiresome. Instead though it's getting deleted...

Have to discount tht theory, Nucky. In all my years of ios gaming, I have never experienced this phenomenon.

I get the feeling the developer of Major G.U.N. really takes a lot of pride in refining the gyroscope control in his game. That might be overriding his business concern of achieving more sales. This can happen to any developer once he spends time on what he feels was a good program. I can sort of empathise with his desire to keep to his artistic vision...

I get what ur saying, but to at the very least a calibration and sensitivity option seem very integral. Agree?

The only cool thing about this game is the borderland feel to it the dev is on touch arcade on the actual games forum and says that he will not and I quote change the games controls or add any control options because apparently gyro control is more realistic and they want a realistic shooter so those looking for a future update that will fix the horrid controls it's not and won't happen all this game is IAP and nothing more get a better cell shaded game like tons of guns as of now STAY AWAY

Went back on my word downloaded it to really see what all the fuss is about and yeah, the controls are pretty awful. It's a shame the dev is letting hubris ruin what could be a really great game.

Well I'm not a fan of having to hold my ipad 4 up in front of my face. It's kinda heavy so after a bit u can feel the burn. But that said the gyro controls work well and are very accurate. Be a lotveasiercwith the ipad air since it's much lighter. Wish I could calibrate to use in a more comfy pisition

At the very least this ignorant dev is teaching himself a valuable lesson- 1- how not to make a successful game and 2- how to fail. Humans and their foolish pride. Pathetic.

Ya, would love to. But please, by no means implement these controls 'specifically for me.' There are multitudes of players whose support you will gain by doing so.
