So it's a rts type of game? Kind of reluctant to buy it as RTS are usually complete fiascos on the iOS.
Yes it's a RTS game, but it works very well on a touchscreen - you can't directly control the units, so it doesn't matter that you can't have things like hotkeys for selecting squads and all the other stuff that's possible on a computer but not a touchscreen.
I typically do not enjoy this genre, but I am loving this one. It is really enjoyable watching the heroes and monsters run around the map and the gameplay is quite accessible through the first handfull of levels. A steal at a buck!
Yes. It's cool. Needed 75 min for the first level… It's like the previous versions of The Settlers (no iOS) where you just build the buildings and the soldiers (magicians etc.) "work" from alone. You can lure them with money to aim special targets. Tested on iPad 2: Perfect controls, zoomable mini map. Recommended! BTW 95 achievements! Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
