      They just released an official website and trailer, fully in Japanese. Here's hoping that they translate it to English and publish it worldwide. Judging from the screenshots and video, it is definitely a bullet-hell game, but also appears to have some character collection elements (could be free-to-play?).

      Since I can't read Japanese, I'm pulling the game title from the website. According to translation apps, the rough translation is "Gothic magic maiden".

      Well, it doesn't say anything about it being free, so that's a start. Some key staff from the older games onboard, too, including some I had thought parted ways with Cave.

      The title translates as the very silly "Gothic Is Magical Maidens". I'll give the rest of it a more thorough reading in the morning.

      I really doubt this will see an English release seeing that CAVE shut down their english twitter handle awhile ago and haven't updated their smartphone games site: http://www.cave-world.com/en/ either.

      I still keep hope! *fingers crossed*

      I think it will come out outside of Japan personally, if Cave don't release it in the west, then an enterprising publisher should release it here. Worst case senerio I'll set up a JP App Store account. I think this looks brilliant, spectacular artwork.

      As far as i remeber Cave released all their iOS games global and even on the same date.
      So i don't see why that should change now.

      That happened before they were bought out by a mobile gaming company I believe, they even took down their English website after that. I'm fairly certain this and any future Cave games will be Japan only and contain a social element (bringing those games over requires a English PR/Events team).
