It's okay. Not stellar, but there don't appear to be IAPs, and I didn't see any ads. The music became very repetitive to me before very long. There's a time limit; I would swear the instructions said to get all the tiles removed within 7 minutes, but I actually had 14 minutes. I cleared the board with about 6 minutes left. There are unlimited shuffles, which would totally kill any challenge if I ever got stuck. I didn't need to shuffle the one time I played the game. They say the time limit is there to make it more challenging, but the unlimited shuffle torpedoes that goal. If you feel stuck, shuffle until you see a match. They show a progression through a map screen in the screenshots, but I never saw a map screen. When I finished the board, it gave a final score and that was it. Perhaps if I cleared the board in under 7 minutes, it would have opened it up? If so, then why give us 14 minutes at all? If I need to clear the board in 7 minutes to advance, just give me 7 minutes. That said, I would rather have no time limit, and limited numbers of shuffles. I don't find mahjong that enjoyable as a race. It isn't the best mahjong game I've played, but it also isn't the worst.
