Universal Magnibox (by Joseph Gribbin)

I just found the world 2 gem and since there aren’t stars to gather for completing levels I think collecting all of those will be something I’ll want to do.

 

Just got level 10 of world 6, it was the hardest level yet, took me 2 day’s ha ha.
Didn’t see it, but afterwards it was easy.

 

I’m in world 7, love the clouds mechanic.

 

Still playing in small doses, I’m on the blue world level 14 so far. Nothing has got me really stuck yet at all, although I have had the a level or two that took me longer than I’d like to admit and then I see how to do it and think how did I miss that.

I still think the level designs are great and clever and some make me happy when I figure it out which is good as some puzzle games just annoy me which is why I play in small doses lol

 

Another new mechanic in world 7, I don’t say what it is, just play till you get there ha ha ha.

This game keeps on giving.

 

Got 4 of the 8 Diamonds now.

Thanks ste86uk, got 7 Diamonds now and I’m in the last world, and again new mechanics even in world 8, that’s what I love about the game the most, alway’s new mechanics popping up.

 

Hi, Joseph, I love Nitrome games but most of them are too difficult for me (I just don't have the coordination). Is this one a bit more user
friendly?

 

Sorry for posting to many times ha ha, but I got all the Diamonds woohoo.

 

This game is definitely different as it is a puzzle game and not reflex based or anything. Just take your time and chill and I’m not a huge fan of puzzle games as most irritate me in the end but I’ve really been enjoying this one with the new mechanics popping up all the time and no pressure with timers etc and getting a good feeling when I figure it out.

 

Hi there! I think Magnibox definitely has a nicer difficulty curve. I've really tried to ease you in to every mechanic slowly so there aren't any unfair challenges.

You can also choose to unlock levels if you're stuck at any point - so if you find a puzzle you can't beat you can still play different parts of the game

 

Got it, great game, one of the best puzzlers on the Appstore, for me anyway.

I’m really loving this game!
I’m now in the red “world”.
It’s really neat that there are different mechanics as you go into a new world!

Hopefully there will be more levels at some point.

Any plans on putting this on the switch?

I'd love to do some updates or bring it to Switch but there aren't any plans right now, sorry.

 

Just completed the final world, and am going back through to find the diamonds.

Is there a diamond on every world?

Are there any worlds with more than 1 diamond?

I’m anxious to hopefully see some more worlds.

 

I believe there is just one per world to find but I’m sure someone else can answer that also. New worlds would be amazing but it definitely is a lot of game for your money as is.

Bumping this thread because Magnibox is on sale (I believe the first time) for the holiday for only 99 cents! I just picked this up now, but it’s so good, I should have bought it when it first came out at full price.

Pretty much a perfect puzzler!
